Ordered a Bedroom set. Took time off from work to meet delivery. An hour past the delivery window the truck showed up, turned around and left. Driver claims he didn't want to flip the truck over in my driveway. Sales offered to deliver the next morning costing me even more time off work. I refused and consider this a leaning experience dealing with liars and amateurs. I since purchased from another dealer and had no issues. Good thing RAC is a national company chain. They would never survive otherwise. I'll never do business and advise everyone I know and meet not to do business with Rent A Center.

couches were ok at first, but in the first month both of them started to break and one ripped under the foot rest that pops up. Arrons came out twice and hasnt fixed either couches. after three months both are bending at the frames and the "love" seat's right side is bent to the left severely. All Arrons did was take 2 months off my total bill and I'm stuck with two broken couches.
Awful customer service, the moving staff broke my door moving out the washer and dryer I rented. I paid "$25.00" per week when it was actually $31-$33 per week depending on what shady charge they decided to add on top of the "tax." Richmond, Kentucky location's manager is rude & unprofessional. No one should ever rent from this store, let alone this company.
The employees and staff are great when you first rent their products but as humans, sometimes we fall on hard times and can get a little behind on payments or have to turn the products back in. It would be really nice if they had a heart and were understanding, or even just plain polite but when I called to say that due to wage and hour cuts at work, I needed to let two of the three items, I was renting from them, go back...well, the manager ( I believe she is the manager) became extremely rude and hateful. It's not like I wanted to give up the stuff, but sometimes you have to do what's best for your family. I can get even more stuff, than I had from Rent-A-Center, at another local rental place, and it costs me exactly half. That's crazy! I am getting more stuff....and yet the payment is going to be exactly half of what I was paying at RAC. So.... you get ripped off extremely badly and then to top it off, the people get rude, when they really have no right to. It is part of the RAC reality that sometimes people do not pay the items off, but instead turn them back in,. RAC isn't losing any money.....that's how they make money. You pay for months and then return the products and they keep your money and then re-rent your items. What do they possibly have to get rude about???? I would highly recommend not renting from them. There is another company in town, with just as good of merchandise for half the cost. It's a no brainer to me. Bad customer service in a small town is a really, really stupid thing to do!!!!!
