The employees and staff are great when you first rent their products but as humans, sometimes we fall on hard times and can get a little behind on payments or have to turn the products back in. It would be really nice if they had a heart and were understanding, or even just plain polite but when I called to say that due to wage and hour cuts at work, I needed to let two of the three items, I was renting from them, go back...well, the manager ( I believe she is the manager) became extremely rude and hateful. It's not like I wanted to give up the stuff, but sometimes you have to do what's best for your family. I can get even more stuff, than I had from Rent-A-Center, at another local rental place, and it costs me exactly half. That's crazy! I am getting more stuff....and yet the payment is going to be exactly half of what I was paying at RAC. So.... you get ripped off extremely badly and then to top it off, the people get rude, when they really have no right to. It is part of the RAC reality that sometimes people do not pay the items off, but instead turn them back in,. RAC isn't losing any money.....that's how they make money. You pay for months and then return the products and they keep your money and then re-rent your items. What do they possibly have to get rude about???? I would highly recommend not renting from them. There is another company in town, with just as good of merchandise for half the cost. It's a no brainer to me. Bad customer service in a small town is a really, really stupid thing to do!!!!!
