The Owner is VERY RUDE and Condescending and doesn't know how to speak to people and has a very poor demeanor. If I had employees like him and his secretary speaking the way they do with my customers and being so impatient and rude AND condescending and judgemental, I'd FIRE them.
He speaks to you like ur dumb cause ur SUPPOSED to know about SOD and how the process works. His secretary gives wrong info and he won't stand by what she says. I brought to his attention 4 times about his way of speaking to me and he just laughs and says oh all right and yet I still gave him a chance and he was still rude. His answer was, i'm not yelling at u. He thinks cause he isn't yelling he isn't being rude or condescending. I don't appreciate being spoken to like i'm stupid cause I never ordered sod and have questions. He said I SHOULD KNOW these things, like I was told in school that it's a MUST to learn about sod and how it works, especially if i'm new to the state of florida. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt since I saw sooooooooooooooooooo mannnnnnny bad reviews on this business. In fact, on FOUR different sites on google, will find he has 2 and 2 1/2 out of five and a big chunk of it is his attitude and business shadiness. I'm very big on customer service. Why should I pay u my HARD earned money over many other businesses? U have to earn it, with GOOD or normal quality customer service. I was discusted by his. It seems florida in general has extremely bad customer service and have a different mentality towards what customer service or punctuality should be.
THEN when I asked him at 7:45 am in the morning if it would be possible to have something done today, he came out nasty after laughing saying "LOLOL, what do u think this is, u expect me to just have a pallet here of SOD waiting for u without placing an order so I it can just go bad or me take a chance on it going bad, lol, this is a business, what do u think"? U don't think that was rude? The attitude was uncalled for, it was a QUESTION cause I didn't go get a bachelors of science on SOD like he obviously did. This is just some of the rudeness cause he said quite a lot on top of the attitude and condescending wording. Just to give u an idea. I will not be spoken to like this nor disrespected, I love myself and don't have low self esteem like a lot of people do.
The next thing was price. I called the secretary during the first day of the week (MIND U she ALSO was as impatient as her owner cause I guess she also felt I should have KNOWN about SOD and how it all works) and she gave me a price on several few 100's of sq ft. When I call at the end of the week, the owner says she was wrong and by a BIG margin at that. I asked him how can u employ someone that gives such a huge difference in price, especially when I said i'd call today. He said OH WELL, that's LIFE, people make mistakes, u can go buy somewhere else. WOW, if my secretary made several verbal mistakes, as a credible business with integrity, id hold up to it and own up to the several mistakes and at least work with the customer, but not these two.
He has a CONSISTENT amount of NEGATIVE feedback. Could all these people be so wrong? And at FOUR Different sites?
If u guys like putting up with RUDENESS and MAJOR lack of customer service and no etiquette whatsoever, if u don't have any kind of morals or respect for yourself and think this type of business and customer service is OK, then u deserve this companies services. I shouldn't have been so patient with them after the first time they spoke to me the way they did, yet I gave them FOUR tries. I have too much self respect for myself to give them my hard earned money.
