        We managed to recover our Francis 1st silver flatware from the pile of charcoal, gypsum & debris that remained from the lightning strike & fire that destroyed our home, but the fire had left a black coating on the silver that was very difficult to remove. There was also some discoloration from the intense heat and corrosion from the firehose water and rain. We looked for silversmiths in our area and were fortunate to find Oexning. Dan did an outstanding job of removing the black coating, while preserving the intricate detail of the pattern. He also did a great job of buffing and polishing the silver. Beth was very friendly and helpful in making arrangements and answering our questions. The cost was much less than replacing the silver, and we were delighted with their results. We highly recommend Oexning.

        We had a large amount of antique silver and silverplate repaired and refinished. We could not be happier! Beth and her staff are remarkably knowledgeable and her artisans are incredibly skilled. They are delightful to work with and we could not be happier with the final product. We cannot recommend them highly enough.
