Great Alternative to Banks!!

First off, banks figure out ways to nickel and dime you for their bottom line. In general, Credit Unions do not. Specific to Navy Federal...I signed up with them when I was in the Navy. They have always been incredibly competitive on rates with other CU's, and they flat out kill the rates at banks. I been using them for years, had 3 car loans through them. I like their online bill pays, it draft immediately. It's much easier to manage your cash that way.

Retired Air Force

I have been a member since 68 and have always received excellent service at locations all over the world. They helped me set up my business account in less than 30 minutes. Family members have also joined over the years. Rated as best Credit Union by TV financial advisors.

I have been a member the past 5 years. I am not in the service although my daughter has been nearly 6 years now. I have found them to be professional and well organized. I don't know about some of the negative remarks I've read, but I think it's a well organized branch and should definitely be considered!

I have been beyond thrilled with Navy Federal. Their service is consistently amazing, and they are very well organized and efficient. Navy Federal offers some of the most competitive rates on their CD's and as a bonus they also pay dividends on checking accounts as well as any type of savings accounts. Tried to open a business account there today... my partner is a full member of JNFCU, and I am a disabled veteran. Lo and behold, *I* don't qualify for membership! Seems if you are not 100% disabled, or you didn't serve a full 20, they could really care less about you.
