I very seldom give 5 star reviews because I believe there is always room for improvement - especially when everything didn't go "just right" with a purchase - but I was so impressed with the customer service that I received that I chose to round up to 5 stars rather than rounding down to 4 when I was given no option to choose 4-1/2 stars.



I recently placed my first order from mymotorcycleclothing.com and immediately received an order confirmation email. After just a few days, I was surprised to have a package from them in my mailbox because I had never received a shipment notification. I opened the package and found a portion of the order that I had placed and nothing else - not even any paperwork - which seemed very odd. In addition to part of the order being missing, what we did receive wasn't quite what my husband had been hoping for so we wanted to return it. But having no paperwork, I had no idea how to do that.



So, on a Saturday evening - well after their business hours - I sent an email to them via their websites "contact us" option explaining the situation. Less than 24 hours later, at 8:45am on Sunday morning, I was shocked to see that I had already received a personal response to my email. It was not a system generated email or some canned response - it was a live person who expressed concern and promised to follow-up on Monday when the warehouse was open.



True to his word, 24 hours later, I received a PayPal notification that I had been issued a refund and then I received another personal email from mymotorcycleclothing.com acknowledging that yes, there had been a mix up at the warehouse, apologizing for the issue and letting me know that they'd issued a full refund.



I'm a firm believer that people are fallible and we're all going to make a mistake every now and then so it's not the end of the world. But the way that this company #1) acknowledged it without any ridiculous excuses and then #2) addressed it immediately to make it completely "right" impressed me immensely.

Not only will I happily order from them again, I will check their site first when I am looking for items that they might carry. Great customer service is what makes me a repeat customer.
