MRW Finish Carpentry

NEVER again! Doesn't return calls/texts. Ignores you. He's too busy. Did one job HALF ASS, incomplete, never returned to finish. What's the point to be "licensed and have a business?" I don't recommend him for anything/crap/zero/zilch/nada! My consumer recommendation don't hire him. Total A-hole!!!

I learned about MRW Finish Carpentry from another company I initially contacted to bid the job. I needed exterior and interior doors and moldings plus all hardware replaced; I thought I was going to need to replace all 7 doors plus molding. Max Wilson came out to see the job. He told me 4 of the doors were actually repairable, instead of replacing. For the 3 I would be replacing he gave me options of doors to choose from, and put together an estimate. The price was reasonable for all I wanted done. Max was on time, professional, efficient, and cleaned up the work area at the end of each day. He is knowledgeable and gave me suggestions on other projects I was starting. Final price was on target, and the work was beautifully done. Despite the challenge of working on an older home and the unexpected surprises that go along with it, he was very timely. I've already asked him to quote another job for me, and I took some of his business cards to share with friends!

The best thing that happened to me was when my kitchen cabinet installer walked off the job before finishing the crown molding. That led me to Max Wilson. I have some woodworking ability myself and I think I can be a good judge. Max was meticulous, careful and efficient-and all at a very reasonable price. He is a definite "keeper" and I will definitely have him back for more projects.
