First Class Handy Man

Tobie installed my front door. Great job with the installation and the framework, which needed to be completely redone. The door ended up being slightly tilted to the left causing the top left of the door to hit the frame when you close it. I texted him about it and never got a response. Me and my brother ended up having to take the door down ourselves to sand down those areas at the hinge in order to make the door fit correctly. He also charged me $75 for an estimate that he would refund me once work was done. I paid $1030 for the door. I at least expected him to come back to fix the door, but no response. He also flaked out on a window estimate. He told me he was using Andersen windows and I asked him for a quote on Andersen 400 series. No response to that either. I guess he burned a bridge. I would've used him again, but there's a lack of communication and customer service. Not worth it at all.

Tobie did an amazing job on my kitchen. He kept me up to date every step of the way, and went above and beyond what I expected. He was always on time and very easy to work with. There were many things he did that he didn't charge me for, and finished the work exactly on budget. The end result is amazing. I love my new kitchen. My next project will be the bathroom, and Tobie will definitely be the person I call . He was always polite and professional. Can't wait to work with him again.

Tobie is a very dependable and affordable contractor...He is always on time and when he begins a project, he is consistent and will not stop til it's complete...He will always call well in advance if he is going to be late or delayed...If an unexpected repair was needed while he was completing his work, he would with no problem, continue uninterrupted, with advising me first of course of the unexpected issue and getting my permission before moving forward...His work is very professional and I would recommend Tobie to anyone, any business anytime...Thanks Tobie...

This guy is not professional at all. I emailed this guy and asked him to take a look at a project which was pretty big. I emailed him a scope of work ahead of time so he knew what I was looking for.



When he shows up his hat is sideways and it looks like a drunk mess that just got kicked out of the bar. As soon as he walks in he says he does not agree with my scope. Tells me that if I want work done, I will have to wait four weeks because he is so full. Oh and he must be paid up front.

Tobie is an honest ,caring, conscientious Jack of all trades that does everything beautifully and thoroughly, from the kitchen remodeling to hanging blinds and ceiling fans to fixing plumbing leaks and electrical rewiring. Tobie redid our bathroom from the ground up. We told him what our budget was and he took it and made a mircle. Tobie cares about doing it right, it was like he was remolding his own bathroom. He was there when he said and was a total pro. I love love love my bathroom and everyone comments on the quality of work. I am so lucky I found him.

It seems difficult, if not impossible, to find a handyman who completes the work he outlines in a reasonable time and at a fair price. I found Tobie to be an exception to this trend. He did what he said he would do in an exact time frame and at an agreed to estimate. Keep this phone number for future reference!

Very professional - great work in a timely manner and cost effective. He has done several projects in my house from wall restoration, installing fence, re-finishing and staining 3rd floor deck, painting etc. All have been done with great craftsmanship and reasonable costs. Very trustworthy as I have had to leave for days at a time and give him unsupervised access. Would hire him again and recommend to anyone.

Tobie does Remarkable work, no doubt about it. He can do it ALL. He redid my whole kitchen all brand new it is Exceptional, beyond words. Now he is putting my Hardwood floors down, they are so Beautiful. He is dependable , trustworthy. Trust me hirer Toby!!!

Over the past several years I have used Tobie (Mr. Handyman XYZ) for a variety of window, door, kitchen, bath and emergency plumbing and board-up jobs. He has been prompt, thorough, and fair. He has worked well with all kinds of tenants and documentation he provided became vital to me in a difficult eviction case. He combines his proven knowledge of old homes and their systems with the latest technology and materials to provide cost effective options and upgrades. I can count on half the fingers of one hand the contractors I have met that have shown consistent ethical conduct, and Tobie has. He has earned my trust and I recommend him.

I hired Tobie to paint my bedroom and do some other odd jobs . He painted the ceiling in my den. Then he put in new switches, with dimmers, for my son's room. He went out and bought a knob for a cabinet he hung. It worked perfectly with the knob. I hadn't even thought about it before he mentioned it to me. I had a TV in the wall that didn't fit properly. He fixed that so it n ow lookd presentable. All in all he did a great job and I knew I could leave him in the house and not be there which is a plus. He cleaned up wonderfully and left nothing behind. He came when he said he would and left in a couple of days when it was finished. I was very pleased with his work and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Mr Handyman ( toby ) did a fantastic job replacing my storm and inner door. The old frame was crooked and wood was rotted out. Toby did a professional job installing the new doors. I will use his services again.

Tobie gave great service. I called him and he came over and gave an estimate.He came on the day and time agreed. He did a wonderful job and was the neatest contractor I have ever dealt with. I recommend him highly and I will use him again for my next project .

Very professional. did a fine job and also likes to put some ideas and sugestion to the work. Very clean and trustworthy person. Expect to contract again next proyect.

Mr. handyman does neet,careful,conscientious work. I hired him to put some fencing up and was very happy with the finished job. All my neighbors have complemented me on how great my property looks now.
