Manny Auto Care and Towing

On March 24 2017, my car broke down on I35 NW - after having driven from Virginia to Fort Hood. I contacted USAA for roadside assistance and was advised that Manny's Towing would handle the tow. I was given a time for arrival (8:13 pm). At 8:30 pm I received an automated call from USAA advising that the tow driver should have responded and wanted me to verify. I responded in the negative and was transferred to Manny's Towing. The young lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional and said that the tow was canceled because it was out of their service area. She curtly told me to contact my insurance company and that it wasn't their issue. I was stunned at the lack of decency. I called USAA who, in turn, contacted Manny's Towing and received the same rude demeanor from them. A little communication from Manny's to USAAwould have saved a lot of angst and would have shortened the duration that I sat on the side of the road (2 1/2 hours). SHAME!

I've had the same problem with them except they have caused over 3000dollars worth of damage to my vehicle and can't get any info on them. Any body who can help me out would be much appreciated. . email mecat preston.stolte92@gmail.com

Second experience with Manny's each time, the driver provided an exceptional service and took great care of our classic cars. I highly recommend Manny's.

Gross immorality and a flagrant disregard for humanity best characterizes the attitude of not only the leadership of this establishment, but it's employees as well. My baleful encounter with this band of brigands masquerading as a towing business began when I called OnStar to help with my flat tire. Unfortunately, Manny's Towing Inc was sent out to retrieve my car. After waiting for 30 minutes past the estimated arrival time, I called their main office. I then learned that Manny's Towing Inc had simply changed their mind and had no intention of picking me up. They neither informed me nor OnStar of this peculiar decision to not complete the task they promised to do and are paid to do. When I asked why they did not see fit to do this or tell me that they were not coming, the manager screamed profanity and hung up the phone. I am truly at s loss to explain or understand what is going on at that place. It very well leads one to speculate that it may be a front for mor nefarious and illegal activities since they don't seem to actually provide towing service very often. Upon reading other reviews of this business, I encountered the same story over and over. Can our community really tolerate a group of scoundrels like this? I will be reporting them tomorrow to the Better a Business Bureau. Now is the time if you feel similarly my friends! Together we can rid the city of a wicked scourge!!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! BMW roadside contracted this company and they destroyed my car. They were supposed to bring wheel skates to put my car on the bed of a truck instead of dragging it on my $1000 tires. They did not and bald spotted my tires. then they proceeded to break my rear axle when they tried to correct the dragging of the car up the bed. then when unloading he drove the truck from under the car leaving the bed to damage my front bumper. The owner was on vacation for 2 weeks and not willing to run his business and my car is still at the dealership all this time. Completely unprofessional all the way around.

Late, their equipment didnt work, rude. Roadside assistance sent them otherwise i would never use them.

Please get rid of that receptionist. She's EXTREMELY RUDE. I've never called a place that its purpose is "customer service" and have that type of person answer. I was transferred to a gentleman who was much kinder. And if they chose to keep her, its because they can afford her and don't mind throwing money to the trash. :)

I have talked to two people at this business. One was very rude about waiting for a fax from my auto club and the other who was unintelligible and actually hung up on me. My husband has now been waiting on a street not 2 miles from our home for approximately 2 hours after a promise that someone would be there within the hour. Then, I get a call from the driver saying that the tow company had sent him to a different address. My husband is deaf so I've been the one to deal with these imbeciles. The towing company is than 10 miles from his location. Having said all that, my husband said the driver was very courteous and professional.

I called just now and the woman who answered was SO RUDE - she literally said "call back tomorrow today is not a good day" - really?!

All the reviews for these guys are really bad, I'm not sure why. I've used them three times and they've always been super nice and friendly to me! The guy that does the night towing shift was really personable and ven offered to look under my hood to tell nme if my belt was brken. So if you're calling around trying to find the cheapest rates, just call these guys. i called maybe 10 different places to price compare before I used them the first time. :)

Horrible!! WORST customer service I have ever heard of. Rude, unprofessional (I get it's a towing company but it's still a BUSINESS) and straight down UNPLEASANT.

Seriously...there is not one good review of this company anywhere...ever...on the web. Couple of bad ones though. There is a GOOD reason for that. BAD customer service!! I cancelled my call with them.

On Sunday Feb 19 at 7:00 a.m., I had a blow out on Interstate 30 in Grand Prairie. I called Road America, a Roadside Assistance Service Provider Network, and asked for a tow truck. They contacted Manny's to tow me to a tire shop and assured me they would be there in an hour. One hour later, I got a call that Manny's would not be responding and to wait for another service--another hour. I spent far too much time by the side of the freeway due to Manny's inability to respond in a timely manner.
