    Great Service, I have been with Liberty…

    Great Service, I have been with Liberty Mutual for the past few months and the employees there are so professional, corteous, and knowledgeable. Susan Hornon is one of the best, call here at 516-256-4100. No regrets so far since I swith over to Liberty Mutual. I would recommend to my friends.

    Liberty Mutual House Insurance

    We have had Liberty Mutual as our house insurance for over 40 years and they just cancelled us because we have an older home!!! We have never had a claim and we have never flooded or had wind damage in all the years we have lived here. We think very little of a company that will cancel our insurance with no regard to our loyalty or history with the company just because some... read more older homes in Florida did not fair well in storms. Our home is excellently constructed, in fact the contractor that just updated our kitchen often remarked how well built the homes were in our subdivision. All our electric, plumbing, and roofing has been kept up to date and we have never been late on payments but none of this seemed to matter. The person I talked with was nice and polite but very firm about the fact we were cancelled apparently along with many other long time customers of older homes. I don't know who the CEO is but who ever is the CEO he/she certainly will not keep Liberty Mutual's good reputation for much longer if he/she is going make short sighted decisions like other mediocre insurance companies.

    Untruthful Business

    My husband bought a full coverage auto insurance policy with Liberty Mutual back in January 2009. In March of 2009, we received a letter stating that our full coverage is suspended becasue we didn't get our cars inspected. We were never informed that we needed to get these inspections and it doesn't state this anywhere on our policy contract. Liberty told my husband that they could give him a list of places to... read more take our cars for the inspections, he said he wanted to talk to our car dealership first. The next day he called Liberty to get the list of inspection places and the lady he spoke with said that we no longer needed the inspections, that our coverage would be fine. In April, 2009 - I was rear ended in a collision. When I called to make the claim, they didn't say anything about plan coverage change, etc. I was hit in a recent collision on June 17th and when I called to make the claim, they said I no longer had full coverage and that my collision woudl not be covered! I was completely shocked! For the past few weeks, my husband has been trying to speak with managers at Liberty to get this coverage dispute handled and get our full coverage reinstated so that I am covered on both of the recent collisions. They had him get in touch with over 5 different Liberty staff all giving him the run around and not helpful in any way. I was also in touch with several contacts who all didn't know what to do about it and had me talk to person after person in which I had to explain the situtation each time to the new person. Not only was our contract changed without notification and authorization, the customer service was horrible! I feel that Liberty Mutual was not up front on what was required of us to make sure that we were fully covered and their service was the worst I've ever dealt with, they don't seem like they know what they are doing and are not truthful when signing people up for new policies!

    I was in an accident in Mississippi, traveling from Mobile, Alabama to Cheyenne Wy. My insurance called me to find out why I didn't have the vehicle in the shop yet. They paid for everything!! They were WONDERFUL... I have had This insurance in California for my home, house and boat. Never a problem. Now in Mobile I have the insurance for my auto and my Travel Trailer!!! Awesome. I have been a customer for 15 yrs!!!

    Awsome Rates!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great service, good deductible, so-so customer care

    Our car windshield had a crack on the side from all the traveling we do on the highway with the rocks and pebbles flying onto the windshield. So we needed the insurance guys at Liberty Mutual to cover it. They were great, no real questions asked, and immediately found a repair company to do it for us. The only gripe I had was when I made the phone call, I got some lousy... read more foreigner who did not know how to handle the phone calls correctly and could speak proper english. So not only did I have trouble understanding him, he also had trouble understanding me. Oh well, at least the service quick and painless.
