Less Stress Contracting

First experience was adequate garden beds not difficult. Observed rude behavior. Hired for deck staining. Work was rushed and sub standard. Had hired for bed maintenance would show with no notice then bill not knowing they had even done service. Extremely rude demeanor and threats of legal action. DO NOT HIRE! !!

ALL PATRONS BEWARE OF LESS STRESS CONTRACTING (Owner Gerald and Erica Wife/Secretary /Worker). THIS CONTRACTOR IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL. THIS CONTRACTORS UTILIZES 6 WORKERS INCLUDING HIS WIFE. THE WORK PERFORMED WAS VERY POOR IN QUALITY. THE OWNER WILL PURCHASE INEXPENSIVE ITEMS THAT HE DESIRES AND CHARGE YOU THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $$$$ WHILE CUTING EVERY CORNER POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE MAXIMUM PROFIT FOR THE LEAST AMOUNT OF WORK. WHEN YOU BRING THIS TO HIS ATTENTION THE OWNER WILL THREATEN YOU WITH LEGAL ACTIONS AND VERBALLY INSULT YOU. ALSO THE + FEEDBACK ON THIS PAGE WAS POSTED BY THE OWNER AND HIS WIFE.

The work we had done was horrible. His prices are extremely high for the service that he gives you. He gave me a high estimate for such a small space. He was done within an hour's top no effort at all. Do not use this company at all. He is also very rude.

Our original call to Less Stress Contracting concerned repairs needed on our shed. Since we did not want to buy a new one, the leaking roof needed to be repaired. The estimate was fair and the work done in a timely manner. A minor cosmetic error that we did not see when they finished we can overlook. The second call was not as good. We asked for an edging of wood at the bottom all the way around the shed walls to cover some "weathered" siding, and repair 2 closet doors(the slide mechanisms). We were told the shed was going to need wood for outside, and inside the shed to anchor it. We checked the closet doors, one was great, the other fell off track immediately. Since we did not ask for an itemized estimate, the owner refused to lower the cost of the repairs or refund any portion of the cost when we were told they did not need the wood for inside, and said "We don't return to the customer any unused supplies purchased for the job." If you do hire L.S.C., ask for an ITEMIZED estimate, get it in writing what happens to excess supplies purchased for your job, and possible refunds on any time/labor if the job hits a snag!

Left a flyer at my house, sent him an email. Decided he wasn't interested because rental property owners are " A WASTE OF HIS TIME"! Lot's of other contractors out there with a better attitude!

Fast to give an estimate and were fast to complete work. Kept a very clean work area. Very pleased with the work that was done. Will be hiring again!
