I had surgery Sept 28th in Cincinnati Oh at the SI for spinal stenosis, bone spurs & thick cartlage. For about 2 weeks I could walk & get around good, then on day 16 I could not get out of bed. Pain & burning so bad & my back locked up. Called the Spine Institute & was told irritated nerves from being compressed so long. Said use anti-inflammatory drugs & ice packs. 2 weeks later hurt so bad can't sit, lay, sleep they called in steroids for inflammation. Still no better. They recommended physical therapy now & go back to pain management. I am worse than before the surgery! They automatically take a payment out of my checking every month for 7 years cause insurance wouldn't pay. I don't know what to do! Maybe I should contact an atty, my Dr said that's hard to pay for 7 years for a bad surgery. I will not go back there. Wish I had read reviews before going. I was just told by physical therapy the reason I had no pain for 2 weeks was after surgery they pump you full of something like novacaine & you think you feel good then it starts wearing off & the pain is back.
