        David Exum, owner and operator of Free Bird Bail Bonds, began his career in the bail bonding and fugitive recovery industry more than 30 years ago. Licensed as a bondsman 25 years ago, he started his career in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a small company, David, the sole proprietor and only agent of his company, began doing things a little differently than his competitors. He wrote few bonds in the beginning, as he observed every aspect of the legal system, which enabled him to make wise decisions in choosing his clients.He also gained the knowledge to advise his clients and their families with helpful information about the court and jail system. Through his professional integrity and prompt, courteous service, his business grew rapidly. By the end of the second year, Free Bird Bail Bonds had grown statewide and beyond, serving Maryland, North and South Carolina, and Colorado. As the business grew, David trained more than 60 agents. Since he insisted on the same professional service from his agents that he has rendered his clients, he reduced the amount of time that he personally wrote bonds so he could spend more time focusing on community issues

        I used Chad Hensley the other day. 828-989-6446. Chad was so helpful, I mean I can’t even tell you guys how much I appreciated what all he did. He was just so honest and knowledgeable about the whole thing. Unfortunately my little brother stays in trouble and I can’t tell you how many bondsman in Asheville I’ve met or talked to that are just shady. Chad is a full time firefighter and worked as a probation/parole officer in Asheville for almost 10 years and he knew exactly what to expect from the “system”. So knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process, thanks again Chad. I hope we never need a bondsman again but if we do I’ve got you plugged in my phone on speed dile brother!👍👍
