Used Flemington Granite for our kitchen countertop, bathroom vanity and fireplace surround. The salespeople were helpful in directing us to finding the right stone (even though some was at another yard). Templating went smoothly and the staff who did the installation did a great job. Everything was well done, on time and on budget. (They could offer more edging options...) We would (and have) recommended them to others!

The salespeople were very helpful and the guys who came to our home to measure and fit the granite arrived on time and did a great job. They have a huge selection to choose from and are a class company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again for another project.

Flemington Granite- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Thanks to Flemington Granite replacing my bathroom countertops was the worst home project I ever did. It took 4 months and 3 installs to get it right. Some words of advice: read every line of your contract before signing and pay special attention to the codes next to the sink indicating the size; carefully inspect the granite for hidden cracks. I requested the large 17” sinks, however the contract was mistakenly written up stating sink (1512) which means the small 14” sink. How was I supposed to know they typed the wrong size on my contract when it was in code? After installation I inspected the job and realized the mistake. I was told by the manager they would swap the small sinks for large ones for an extra charge of $350. Isn’t that special? They will charge me to correct their mistake. Then I spoke with the owner who said he would only replace the 2 sinks in the master for no extra charge, but would charge me for the sink in my 2nd bathroom. No one apologized for this mistake, instead they simply said “you signed the contract”. Finally a month later they re-installed the master countertop with the larger sinks. After they left I was cleaning off the surface and realized there was a crack in the granite from the front of the sink to the edge of the granite. The crack was covered up with some type of glue. Obviously it cracked when they were enlarging the hole for the bigger sink. Instead of telling me and proactively ordering a new one, they tried to hide the crack and installed it. I went to the showroom the next morning and was offered to have someone come and “buff and polish” it out. Again, no apology or explanation. This was totally unacceptable to me and I was extremely upset at this point. After I showed my pictures of the crack to the guy in charge of installations, he said he would order a brand new piece of granite which was installed the following week, and the job was finally done.

One more thing to be aware of is the hidden cost of milling the backsplash which is not in the contract. It is not even discussed until the template guy comes to measure. If you want your backsplash cut down to look nice, it will cost a few hundred extra dollars.

Is this a reputable company? Installing the wrong size sinks because they did not listen to the customer; putting the wrong code in the contract; expecting me to pay extra to correct their mistake; installing a countertop they know is damaged because they cracked it, and not telling the customer?

Please think long and hard before you do business with Flemington Granite. There are plenty of other companies out there that will provide better service AND more importantly treat you with respect.

I found an incredible array of granite. The sales person respected my budget and helped me find a "remnant" which helped to keep the cost down...I have had two bathroom sinks completed and I could not be happier. Time from template to installation was less than two weeks the first time and one week the second.
