Cary Express Taxi

Took Express Taxi this past weekend and it was the WORST taxi experience I have ever had. I would not step foot in any of these taxis after these experiences. This taxi company picked our group of 6 up at my apartment complex in a van. He began to drive without starting the meter and did not tell us what he would charge us before starting to drive. When we asked why the meter was not running he told us that this is a "van service" and they charge 5 dollars a person, which would be 30$ total. We take taxis often and have never paid more than 15 dollars for a ride to the same area including tip. We eventually convinced him to start the meter and he proceeded to take the longest route so that it would rack up more money. The next night my friend jumped in a taxi and my group of friends went in after her. He began to drive and I immediately recognized his face after also realizing that the meter was not running again. I again asked him to start the meter but this time he refused and said he recognized our group. He said it would be 5 dollars a head again but when we got to our destination he locked the doors and would not open them till he got 45 dollars. Luckily we had the money but he was still rude to us. He told us that "we are lucky he let us out last night" and said that "this is how it works if you don't pay one night he will make us pay tonight." We did pay both times, but the first night we paid what was on the meter and not his made up fare. I tried to call and file a complain to their manager and was told that what he did was unacceptable but when I tried to give the man's name and tag number he would not take them and then proceeded to yell at me when I asked if the man would get in trouble for not following the rules. I got nowhere in my phone call so my dad called and tried to file a complaint. The manager became irrational and began to cuss my dad out and say f*** you several times. Again, I DO NOT recommend this taxi company and WOULD NEVER take it again. I have taken many taxis and have never been treated this way by a driver or manager.

I asked them if they go to knightdale they said yes and when I told them the address they said it was too far. Not professional.

I waited 1 hour for a pick up they said would take 10 minutes. They are NOT in Cary NC and they speak very poor English

They were extremely rude on the phone and did not have a cab for us when we needed one

I love how you guys treated us....that was an awesome ride. They're awesome people.
