We took my 1 year old son there for his first haircut. When we first walked in the receptionist was moody with us. She asked my son's name and I'll spelled it for her because it is a harder name to spell. We got Alex and did so good with my son. He was quick and worked well even with my son moving his head. Miss Cookie was also very friendly and helpful while we were there. Then the receptionist misspelled my son's last name on his certificate. When I pointed it out to her, she again got very moody with us. Miss Cookie told us that Alex will be moving on to Great Clips, we definitely be going to him again. The price was good and other than the receptionist everyone was very friendly.

If I was able to give this organization a 0 Star Review I would. The education you receive here is not even close to helpful. The amount you pay for materials, given the quality, is outrageous and the graduation rate is very low due to the incompetence of the corporate office and the administrators at schools.
When my father was dying, I was told in reference to going to visit him in the hospital, "You will eventually get your priorities straight when it comes to missing school." I was forced to take clients over breaks even though I was
6 months pregnant and a teacher openly ignored me on several occasions.
After I left the administrator told me my bills were taken care of, only to be sent a bill for $3,000. I obviously couldn't pay that out of pocket. I was then told by the same person not to make payments until we figured it out and they sent my bill to a collection agency. 2 years later they turned it into the credit bureau stating it was delinquent even though I had been paying on it direct withdrawal for 2 years. The lady from the corporate office was condescending, rude, and poorly educated on the subject. When I contacted the debt collector everything she claimed to know was the opposite.
They take your money and run and often over charge you for the time you spend there. If they weren't a part of the Department of Education I would be convinced this company was actually a scam. Overall I would say, NEVER, NEVER attend an Empire Beauty School Campus.
