I spent over an hour giving all my information to Dish and paying them for set up on a Friday. They came out on Saturday. The Technician was so rude to me and left saying he couldn't set up due to line of sight. FALSE. My neighbors Dish is 3 ft from my front door. I chatted with Mariel today who told me they can set up. Then she wanted my SSN and Credit Card AGAIN because she wanted to start me a new account. I informed her I wasn't paying them again. I have not received my refund from the first set up that was not completed. She then transferred me to Allan before I was done typing to her. Allan was also useless and transferred me to Robert. Robert then said he needed my SSN and Credit Card AGAIN so he could run another credit check to set me up another account . I explained I was not paying them AGAIN. He then sent me some long, copy and pasted jabber about my first months bill (WHEN I WAS NEVER SET UP AND DON’T EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT ANYMORE APPARENTLY!!) and the disconnected me from the chat that I had been working on for an hour and half. I then CALLED them and spoke to Zach who could not have possibly cared any less. I am going with Comcast, as Dish has the least helpful, most arrogant, and completely rude customer service I have ever dealt with. All I wanted was for them to send someone out to get a second opinion on the "line of sight" issue. It's not like I asked them to do something hard. Never again, Dish, NEVER again.
