Unimpressive, expensive service. When I called to cancel service because we were moving they kept me on hold for over 40 minutes!! I don't think the "press 2 if you are moving" department exists. THAT IS SO VERY RUDE!!! I won't be getting service with them again. Also, al you have to do is turn in your equipment at the nearest Cox location. Hopefully my mistake will save you tons of time!
Too expensive for mediocre service. The basic cable package is almost twice as expensive as a comparable service in my hometown (they pretty much have the monopoly for TV in NWA, so they can charge whatever they want.) The employees are helpful, but don't expect fast service. Also, their TV commercials are twice as loud as other commercials and on all the time.
Always feel like I'm getting ripped off. Customer service sucks. Either rent their modems for $7 a month, buy for $20+ over the retail price or spend hours on the phone trying to activate the same model they use over the phone. If you change your plan at all you have to pay $20 for a &quot;professional install.&quot; I bought the SAME modem they try and make you rent and the &quot;pro&quot; tried to tell me it was a router and wouldn't work. On top of all that their website is absolute chaos and is sometimes impossible to use. It likes to kick me off and make me sign in multiple times when I'm just trying to pay a bill. A few times I've had to call and pay a $5 service charge to pay over the phone. It's basically the only show in town so this is what to expect when there's no competing markets.
