Corporate Auto Transport

My wife and I were moving across the country and chose to fly rather than drive and our first company disappeared on us two weeks or so before the move so we were in a panic, but called corporate auto transport hoping they could help us. Tara not only got our contract done quickly for me but she found us a driver within just a few hours of my call. The driver was awesome and arrived on time too. He was very pleasant to work with as he checked over our car and did his paperwork. He delivered the car to us the day after we arrived saving us a ton of money on a rental car we thought we'd need based on the first company's delivery estimate. So, from start to finish this company was polite, compassionate, helpful and kind. This is exactly the kind of customer service we should see with everything. They really came through for us!

Corporate Auto Transport was recommended to me to use by my company's Vice President of Sales as she had a good experience. As such, I did not look for reviews. If I had I probably would not have chosen to use them. When I first emailed Jon, the experience was looking promising as he responded in a timely manner with quotes for our 2006 Volkswagon Toureg. On June 26th, our paypal was deducted the $195.00 for our deposit and was asked what day I would like it to be picked up so I gave Jon a time frame of between June 26th and July 1st. I gave them 6 days to pick up the vehicle so they would have leeway. At that point, all contact from Jon dropped off the face of the earth.



My counterpart in California called me on the July 2nd and told me the car had not been picked up. I emailed and called Jon only to be told he was on Vacation and they would take care of the car. They said that it would be shipped immediately even though it is hard to find a driver the weekend of July 4th. I told them they needed to ship the car immediately as it was already supposed to have been picked up by the end of the day on July1st. Even though the car had not shipped, they made me feel like they had my best interests at heart and were trying to find a driver.



Fast forward to July 8th...I was told by my counterpart in California that the car still had not been picked up. I was livid and immediately called Corporate Auto Transport. I got Tara on the phone who apologized that my car had not been picked up. Apologies at that point, honestly, do nothing to make anything better. I told them they needed to ship the car immediately or I would find someone else. Tara asked me to give them a couple of hours and so I did. She called back saying that they had found a driver and the car would be picked up on July 9th. The car was not picked up on the July 9th as I was told and the car was picked up on July 10th.



Fast forward to July 17th...the car finally arrived. I would not wish this headache on anyone. Avoid Corporate Auto Transport if you value your sanity and need your car in a certain time frame.

I want to express my complete satisfaction and delight with the manner in which you arranged and moved my vehicle. I was cautious in selection a company after receiving dozens of calls and emails in response to my on line inquiry. Everyone promised top service and some even offer lower pricing but I was influenced by your BBB afiliation and the reviews posted. After your agent explained the "stand-by" option I decided to go with it. He explained that it might as much as two weeks before a pick-up. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call two days later confirming a pick-up date. The carrier/driver was on time, very professional and took great care to examin the vehicle prior to loading. My vehicle was delivered three days later in Minnesota as promised in perfect condition. I could not have been more pleased with the process. I will be moving another vehicle next year and there is no question but that I will again call on Corporate Auto Transport.
