Clifton Taxi

On their website it specifically states that the price from Clifton to Clifton is $10. When we tried to call for a cab they tried charging 15 dollars. When confronted with this the dispatcher became rude and irate then proceeded to hang up the phone on us. We called another cab company in Clifton and we got a cab for the lower price without any hassles. Never again will they be utilizedand we will make our friends and family do the same.

They left us in NYC. We confirm a pickup time when he drop us off so we called him 10 times and he finally picks up the phone n said he was trying to call us but there was nothing on our phones showing he called and he said he couldn't get us!!!

Just awful. Called the day before NYE to make a reservation for a car to Hoboken and back on NYE. We were told by the dispatcher that there was no need to make a reservation and that the price would be $50 each way, or $100 round trip. We were instructed to call 1/2 hour before we wanted to be picked up. This surprised us, because we thought they would be busy. The dispatcher responded that they actually had to many drivers wokring that night. The next day (NYE) we called an hour before we wanted to picked up and were told that the price was $90 each way. When we told the dispatcher that we were quoted a different price the day before, he responded that he was the dispatcher now, and that he was very busy, did we want the car or not. We hung up, and called another service. While we ended up paying $90 each way, I wan't going to give my money to a business that was untruthful and nasty on the phone. They should really get zero stars.

This place stinks. On 8-23-11, I called and made an appointment for a taxi to pick me up the following morning at 6:45 a.m. The next morning, nobody showed up. At 7:00 a.m., I tried calling them, and received a message that their mailbox was full and that I should call back later. I ended up calling a different taxi service, and arrived at my destination an hour late. I strongly urge everybody NOT to use this service. The only reason I am giving it a one-star rating is that my review will not register without such a rating. It actually deserves ZERO stars.
