City Diner

Found this place today.. Located next door to the LaQuinta Inn right off I-10 service road . The food is fabulous .. I had the Western Omlette, came with grits and toast. It was yummy and the largest I have ever had. My husband had the veggie Omlette with grits and biscuit .. He cleaned his plate.. I could not. They have a variety of food for Breakfast, lunch and dinner.. Well worth it! Enjoy!

Every time my family wants to go out for breakfast, we go to the City Diner. It is located nearby Galleria in Metairie. Selection is great and whatever you order, you will be completely satisfied. Fresh, warm, large buttery biscuits and pancakes, thick slices of bacon grilled to perfection, juicy sausages, eggs done just the way you want and everything always with a touch of local flavor in spice and presentation. If you like Eggs Benedict, you must try City Benedict (variation with andouille sausage, fresh spinach and blackened tomato) - it will knock your socks off. Child friendly and entertaining with the windows overlooking the Causeway/ I-10 overpass (our son loves to watch trucks and cars while we wait for food). Friendly service and reasonable prices. Once you try it, you will definitely want to come back.
