The staff is great and the teaching is top notch! The teachers are patient and knowledgeable and the school is professionally run.

Our daughter (8 years old) has been in piano lessons here for about 4 years now. They are like family to us. They truly care about their students and their families. My son, Tanner, was an aspiring musician in 8th grade who wanted to attend high school at Harrison School for the Arts, but we weren't quite sure how to prepare him for the spring Auditions, so we turned to Lemon Street Music for advice. In the 4 months leading up to auditions, our teacher Shane Butler created a custom Jazz Bass curriculum for Tanner, which gave him the confidence and skills needed to be accepted into the Harrison Jazz Program. Shane's knowledge in music theory and jazz technique is extensive, and exactly what my son needed to get him ready for auditions. Tanner continues to play both jazz bass and jazz guitar in the Harrison Arts Music Program, and I would highly recommend Lemon Street Music to anyone who is seriously considering Harrison auditions, or looking to take their musical talents to the next level.
