HORRIBLE, FRAUDULENT Company!!!!! BEWARE BEFORE USING THEM!!! This company is literally the worst exerience I have ever had. This is also the very first bad review I have ever left online. My exerience was so bad that I found that I had to let others know about it. *** This gas comany charged me on average $27 a month for the last 12 months. Not bad, I can deal with that amount and I gladly paid every single bill on time every month. Then... last month I recieved a $618 bill...thats 618!!!!! I was then told...oopse, we have been misbilling you for all of the coldest winter months, your bill shouldnt have been $27, but should have been $2OO each month. So here is this HUGE bill, and you are now going to pay for OUR mistake and you have 15 days or we will turn your gas off.
The issue I have is that had I been billed correctly all winter, and not fraudlently, I would have seen my first high bill and said...wow thats alot, I need to adjust my usage! I would have had the oppertunity to NOT USE SO MUCH DAM GAS ALL WINTER, I would have done my laundary at my mother in laws (who has a free laundary service where she lives(....I could have insulated my hot water heater, I would have stoped preheating my over as much for as long, I would have turned off my old, ancient heater, and started using my super efficent electric heaters, I would have asked my family to shorten their showers....there are a million different things I would have done had I know what my REAL usage was and not been LIED to all winter!
After they finally sent me the huge bill I immediately changed my habits and my next months bill was back down to $35....WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALL WINTER. HAD THEY BILLED ME CORRECTLY I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER USED SO MUCH GAS. I would have done the above mentioned things. Its curious that they did this during the 4 coldest months of the year.
They are imossible to deal with, their customer service is terrible! They will say that all of this was their fault, but I am going to be the one to pay for it, not them. I even offered to pay something...noone should be able to use gas for free, but I want to be compensated for their mistake and for the fact that my usage was based on THEIR MISTAKE!! And woul dnever have been so high had they been honest. They will not budge, and give me any kind of deal.
I sell art online...and if I were to sell someone paintings month after month, at the agreed upon price of $25 each...I could NEVER EVER just randomly send them a new bill months later and say...oopse, my bad...I know I sent you a bill and you already paid it but....your paintings were actually $2OO each not $25, lol...you owe me over $6OO right now or I am going to turn off your gas!!! That wouldnt fly in any world.
I hate these big companies that have no accountability and dont give a **** if they screw over a loyal customer and then lose their business because they have thousands more customers to screw around!
