Pat was knowledgeable and very informative concerning our electrical issue. He was straightforward and the fact that they give 5 year warranties is a plus.

Pat was great he responded right away when other company's never even returned my calls. He was very nice answered all my questions and most of all gave me options and explained the pros/cons of each and was patient. He came over on time and did the job immediately under two hours everything was back to normal. I highly recommend this company and Pat! Great experience and will be calling them back.

I recently lost power to half of my house. The electric company said I lost one phase at my service panel. I was told to find an electrician and expect them to want to change out my service box. Finding a reputable contractor is always a risk. I picked Benjamin Franklin Electric out of the Yellowpages.com for their excellent reviews. I called at 7 AM and Pat was back to me in less than 10 minutes and at my house before 10 AM. He checked things out and said it was just my main breaker. I asked did the service box need to be replaced and he said no, but he would recommend changing the breakers since some had shown signs of arcing. He explained that my service was more than adequate for my house. Pat took the time to explain things and never tried to sell me something that wasn’t needed. He was very reasonable in his pricing and the work was done in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Electric for any work that you need.

Hi, we had a Generac natural gas generator installed after hurricane Irene and we had a bit of trouble with it as it stopped working during hurricane Sandy. So we took a contract out with a service company who assured us that by doing so they would be there when we need them to be. That was not the case because when it stopped working again and we called our original service company they were less than polite and refused to come out in a timely fashion despite the promise of coming out within 24 hours of a problem. So my husband started calling around to other companies and found Benjamin Franklin Electric. We spoke with the owner who was very helpful and willing to come out the next business day to see why our generator had (yet again) stopped working. He came out and took the time to diagnose and fix the issue giving us peace of mind. He was professional, knowledgeable and did what he said he was going to do. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Electric. They know their business and do what they promise they are going to do. Unlike their competitor.

Had Ben Franklin Electric install a whole house generator in my Red Bank, NJ home. When looking for contractors, BFE responded immediately and Patrick, the owner came to my house, educated me and my wife about whole house generators, assessed our needs and made purchase recomendations based on these.needs. We were quoted a fair and competitive price. Patrick and Josh installed the generator in a very professionl manner and interacted with us in a warm and friendly manner. We were so impressed with their work and professionalism that we are using then for all our future electrical needs and have, already, recommended them to three friends.

I would have loved to give a rating, but never had the chance. After waiting a week for the appt for estimate, the tech never showed up. Got call that they would be at house in 4 days. Again...never showed up. Would not recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

I found this company through the Yellow Pages and hired them based on the good reviews posted. I had a power failure in my outlets and overhead lighting and Pat was able to find the problem and fix it for a reasonable fee. I would use this company in the future without hesitation.

I haven't used BFE services and yet I'm giving them five stars thanks to Pat who responded to my request for an estimate to run a 40 Amp line. My wife and I were thinking of replacing our gas range with an electric one. Rather than trying to close a deal with us, Pat took his time to explain the pros and cons of switching from gas to electric range including the distinct possibility of having to upgrade our entire service for the addition of 40 Amps. Pat's straightforwardness and integrity spoke volumes to me. When I need an electric service or repair in the future I will definitely start with BFE just based on that conversation.

These guys are @#$%^^&*! When I told them that the job was half way done the guy on the other line said that they would have to do all the work from scratch or not do the job at all. Money grubbing !@#$%!
