  They asked for almost two weeks for an estimate and then ddid not show up. When I called back was not given ant reason as to why. They just wanted to reschedule after I Had call them for service.

  QUESTIONABLE BILLING PRACTICE
  
  The company gave us a grossly overestimated quote on tree-trimming; the actual job was in fact nearly half of the estimate. Upon being questioned about the excessive charge, the company reduced the bill only by a small fraction, citing such billable time as the worker's packing up the truck and driving to our home. We were unaware of the fact that we were being charged (for the unverifiable amount of time) even before the worker set foot in our place. Beware of this company's questionable billing practice.

  Bad Service

  I called to get a bid request for Edgewood, MD which they transfered me over to Dave Bucci who works for them. He said he would get me over the request. This was 7/15/2010, today is 8/24/10 and still no response back after many phone calls and left messages. Our company has taken a hit because of the lack of effort, communication that this company has not provided.

  NOT SERVICING DETROIT

  I CALLED TO GET SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY AND I WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE, I WAS TOLD THEY DONT SERVICE THE DETROIT AREA. SO, I ASKED WHY IS IT LISTED AS SERVICING THE DETROIT AREA AND SHE RESPONDED ITS FOR MICHIGAN NOT DETROIT!!! SO CALL ANOTHER SERVICE IF YOU ARE IN DETROIT!!!!

  Excellent Tree Care Company

  I've had Bartlett perform tree services such as pruning and bracing at my Drexel Hill property several times and they've never failed to impress me with their professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness. They are head and shoulders above other tree care companies I've encountered, and always perform the work in a timely and safe fashion. They have a local office in Bala Cynwyd, and when a Silver Maple in my back yard suffered some serious storm damage with dangling limbs and the like, they came out right away to assess and make the situation safe; further, they were able to save the tree, which we really enjoy for its shade. Excellent service at a fair price.

  Not impressed

  I did work with them some time back and thought I got a good deal. It came time to have my trees trimmed again and I decided to get more estimates from different companies and I received way lower prices. I went with another company still a little skeptical about the work I was going to get (for hundreds less). To my enjoyment the new company was amazing and I was more impressed with their services.

  They Rock!

  In 2006, these guys and took down about 12-15 pine trees in just a few days... They were friendly, communicated very well and we would use them again if needed in a heartbeat. Comparable to other places as well. Great place to call when it time to take down some trees that are causing problmes!

  Wonderful, curtious, and professional service. Our arborist representative Nathan saved our heirloom flowering dogwood tree with a prescription fertilization based on the recommendations from his soil analysis provided from their own laboratory.
