Forced Fed U-Verse

We moved to a new apt complex in Owasso, OK. Apartment management made a deal with the Devil (AT&T). Their tenants only have one choice for TV/Phone/Internet services: AT&T U-verse. This would be OK, except for one major problem; the u-verse service is the worst public utility service I've ever seen in my entire life. Terrible Terrible customer service. We were charged for technology we didn't have after speaking with so many people about 4 times about having one of their technicians taking it with them. The last lady I spoke with argued with me about late fees we owed after not receiving our bill in a timely manner. Their customer serve experience made me wanna cry. After 8am. No answer here. No help on Uverse support either.

Need AT&T to replace equipment. Indian lady's"help" does not include understand the effect of a lightning storm on all devices connected via coaxial cable. Zoinks! Please connect me to a reasonable HUMAN that isn't related to HAL9000.

People are great and helpful, TV is great and phone is pretty good, but the internet is just a disaster. I've been with Bellsouth before and after they turned into AT&T. Ping is ridiculously high for the type of connection it's supposed to provide. When you try to connect to a server in Cali or even Florida, the ping becomes worse. This is just with one computer on and everything else is off and disconnected.
