These people are out to scam all the money out of you they can! Any dentist worth his own salt will ALWAYS want to save your natural teeth for as long as they can, but Aspen didnt try to save my upper teeth by giving me the couple of fillings I wanted, they didnt even bother with the fillings i came in for, because they wanted to pull them all and tried to talk me into $3500 upper dentures, with $1700 of that out-of-pocket!!! They were not friendly, they had an attitude, and were all young, with that smart-allecky attitude and snobby air i cant stand, and didnt really seem to know what they were doing. Maybe because they are all so young i dont know. Also, several of them were standing around in my part of the shared room, laughing about the OLD DUDE, as they put it, that had been in earlier, saying they thought he was going to **** his pants before he got out of there and that it was so hard not to crack up in his face. What nerve!! I cant believe theyd talk like that about a patient in front of ANOTHER patient!! I did not like the bad vibes or that treatment room, which you share with another person (theres just a partition between), and they have a salesman write up your treatment plan, and he tries to force you into way more than you can afford, then gets an attitude if you say you cant afford it. Showed me dentures that were a minimum of $1000 and those that were $3000, and said i wouldnt want the cheaper ones, they dont look as good or fit well. Well, why dont they ONLY make quality dentures?? Why would they not want ALL their patients to have quality dentures, instead of making crummy dentures they try to talk you out of? ALL their dentures should be the same, of the highest quality, and at an afforable price. Even the ones they called cheap are way more expensive than other dentists, and from what i have heard, they are not any better at all, they dont fit well, and their after-care and follow-up sucks, as does their attitude after the sale. They only care about money, not the patient. Thats a chain-dental practice for you. And when they were pricking my gums with their sharp pick, they were really stabbing me HARD, and it was hurting like mad, over and over and over....and i could taste all the blood in my mouth and tears were going down into my ears, so i asked if they could be a bit more gentle, and they said this is as gentle as we can get, you just have sensitive gums that bleed easy. I said my gums NEVER bleed, they are only bleeding because you are STABBING them! So they kept stabbing me EVEN HARDER, and i would have got up and left right then and there if they had they not been nearly done. If i have gums that bleed easily, why would they have had to keep stabbing them so hard??? Seriously! Dentists have always told me i had strong, healthy gums. I think they purposely wanted to make them bleed so they could try to convince me i would lose all my teeth and that my gums were receding and i'd need to get their VERY expensive dentures.....well, nice try! I will go elsewhere, then, and get IMPLANT-SECURED AFFORDABLE DENTURES, i would never let those cold, sadistic, smart-alecky, money-grubbing snobs touch my mouth again!!! I wouldnt even give them one star but it wouldnt let me post without at least ONE. ------My last point is this: ANY PLACE THAT MAKES DENTURES THAT THEY THEMSELVES WOULD NOT EVEN RECOMMEND JUST SO THEY CAN GET YOU TO BUY THE ONES COSTING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IS A SCAM OPERATION. ITS LIKE ADMITTING THEY MAKE CRAP SO THEY CAN PUSH THE COSTLIER STUFF ON YOU. DO THEY REALLY THINK THAT HELPS THEIR BUSINESS?? They are going to put themselves out of business eventually. I hope! And good riddence when they go!!!

Staff is great! They are a very busy office though so getting an appointment is difficult but I am glad I waited. My fillings were done properly and I had hardly any pain. Dr was very attentive towards me.

I had been having problems with my wisdom teeth coming in so I called aspen dental and made an appointment. The day of my appointment, I had probably 20 x-rays done, then was told that 90% of the people who've walked through their doors have mouth cancer, and that I need an exam to make sure I don't have mouth cancer. Then I found out most insurance companies don't cover the cancer screening and it would be a good chunk of mOney to pay. Then they checked my gums and my teeth but never once said anything about my wisdom teeth (which is why I was even there in the first place) so when I finally said something about the pain my wisdom teeth were causing, they told me it would be extensive surgery since the wisdom teeth were so impacted... Costing even MORE money out of my pocket. It just seemed weird to me that they were so quick to tell me the price range of everything but didn't even seem interested in helping me. Everytime I've called aspen dental, I have to talk to the SAME RUDE LADY who yelled at me when I asked if there was any earlier openings? "NO! I TOLD YOU THAT WAS THE ONLY OPENING!!" ....aspen dental sucks @$$...........

Aspen Dental has managed to scam $323.00 in over payments from my insurance that was to be sent back to me. Both my ex husbands & his wifes dental cover my 2 girls and both insurances where billed. I was smart enough to print a statement before the 2nd round of insurance payments and low and behold Aspen lowered their in network deductions reflecting a credit of $106 rather than $323... So adjusting their rates and insurance discounts is legal? That is what Perrin De-Jonge at 866-273-8606 ext 1313 told me. I will be reporting them to the Attorney General.

I went to Aspen for some extensive work. I told them that I could not afford it so the surgeon offered to only charge for partial treatment so that I could afford it. Three years later I still have half a mouth of missing teeth that they removed. I have seen 5 different dentists at various Aspen locations. They are ALL incompetent. The one, and only one, dentist that knew what he was doing is no longer with the company, smart man got out when he could. The conduct fraudulent billing, needless treatments, and their dentists are incompetent. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL!!!!! It doesn't matter which location you go to, it's all the same. Their commercials say they bring back your smile.... ha! How can they do that when they leave you with no teeth????

Darling I dont know where your from but if you have Aspen then you must have an Affordable Dentures. I have been planning on going with Affordable Dentures for the past 6-8 months or so, but then I saw this Aspen plan here online and thought it looked ok and I looked it up on yp and Im really glad I did because I got all these reviews. But affordable dentures are great. I know several people here in my home town in KY that have used them and I WILL BE using them in the next few weeks. They do great work at very affordable rates. You can also look them up online and they have a price guide AND an area guide to let you know where all they are located. I hope I helped!

Aspen is a joke. IAfter talking to the receptionist about a filling that I needed replacement I wen to the Mt Plesant location. They took 18 x-rays and I questioned that. They said it was proceedure. They then sat me down in the chair to watch 15 minutes of repeated vidio about month cancer. They returned and asked if I wanted the cancer exam. I said no. They then went through and checked for bone loss. No problem. Then the Doctor came in and we reviewed the X-rays. All good. Thenshewent to examine my teeth. I said Doctor the filling is missing over here. That's the tooth that needs the filling. She said then well there will be no treatment for that today.
I asked what didn't you folks understand. That's what I came here for was to have the filling replaced?
I walked out. This is a sham clinic. Don't go, I had to give it one star to be published -

Let me start off by saying I became dental phobic after a few years ago when a dentist drilled into a tooth that was not numb. So yes it was my fault for putting off dental work for a few years, but recently I had a old filling come off my molar and immediately called to make an appt since they are the only place that takes me aetna dmo insurance. I am first told it will be weeks before they can see me so I am stuck with walk in clinics. Anyhow moving forward, I schedule my first appt with aspen dental in battle creek, mi and I am told I need 21 fillings, some new, but most are old fillings that just need to be redone. fine. So I go for my first appointment and everything is very rushed (they did 5 fillings in 45 minutes). I was told it would be tooth colored fillings for my front teeth, they did the swatch thing where they tried to best match my teeth, well they went about 4 shades (no exaggeration too dark) so mind you it was all I could do to get back in the dentist chair, when I told them I was doing the best I could but it was intimidating for me they said "we dont care about what happened in the past, just in the future. So feeling all accomplished I go home to look at my teeth, my smile turned into a frown after I saw it looked like I had brown spots on my teeth.
The fillings were too dark. Not to mention where they injected me with the numbing solution i felt like I had been punched in the the face for almost a week after (I have never been in that kind of pain over shots in my mouth and believe me I have had plenty) so I work in a call center and they are very finnicky about how they schedule their time off. so I arranged my time off for my second appt. guess what? they pushed it back an hour and left me a message simply stating my appt had been moved, didnt bother to ask me if I could make it, just informed me thats "when I needed to show up" to quote the receptionist directly. While I am in the waiting room i am behind a gentleman who had a new patient appt, he signs in, sits in the waiting room for 15 minutes only to be told they bumped his appt to the next day and yet he was never called. when he told the woman he worked at a factory and it was going to be next to impossible to come in tommorow she said "well give us a call when you can see us again."
This was just the beginning. so I get back to the chair I let them know about the color issue with my previous fillings the dentist sighs and says well that means were gonna have to re do them and I let her know that was ok lets just wait til everything else is done and I will schedule another appointment. She then proceeds to numb me, i generally have a difficult time getting numb which i told them about I had to stop her twice to re numb me because I started to feel it and she said "your are hard to numb, this is ridiculous" when i said i was sorry i wish i could do something to help she just did a frustrated sigh have me a shot and proceeded to work on the tooth TEN SECONDS after putting more numbing solution in it. They do the fillings, they did all the silvers ones except for one that I requested be tooth colored since it would be visible. Guess what? they used the SAME WRONG COLOR on that one too after i asked TWICE to make sure it was lighter.
lets pause and think about this. they now have to redo all the filings they did the first time, and this other one, which means numbing me again and going thru all this again. why? because they didnt do it right the first time. Then during my work I happened to be in a chair by their cleaning area where they clean the instruments three dental assistants were using profanity saying how much stuff they had to clean.

Told me I had severe disease and needed cancer screening. After I had the exam, was told all of my teeth needed to come out or I might get sick faster and die. They said my mouth had cancer in it. Then the dentist told me to get out of the chair and go to the ddesk to get an estimate.the girl. Said I can't say exactly how much because your mouth is a mess, but around $5-6,000 .I said I can't afford that and she said oh well, even if we do a pmt. Plan, you need to put 80% down. I went to another maxillofacial surgeon who took my insurance. And he removed all. But a couple teeth and resectioned my bone and said ok. That's it you are fine. I called aspen and was told that I need to pay them around $2000 if I want dentures, I can't afford that and now feel taken for a ride. They left me at. 42 yrs.. old with no teeeth and no help. I don't know what. To do, I am reporting them to bbb and da and may get an attorney. Beware of them and go elswhere if you can, they. Are bad news !!

THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS AND ARE VERY RUDE AND MEAN.
THEY BLACKMAIL THEIR DENTIST AND STAFF INTO SELLING COSTLY SERVICES AND DENTURES THAT ARE JUNK DENTURES AND SERVICES THAT YOU DON'T EVEN NEED TO HAVE DONE , BUT THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED TO COME BACK FOR A DEEP CLEANING , AFTER YOU JUST HAD THEM CLEAN YOUR TEETH.
IT'S A BIG SCAM AND THEY ARE ONLY OUT TO RIP YOU OFF -

I live in Sheboygan, WI and I have never in my life had such a horrible experience! I can't believe this place is in business! They told me I had stage three gum disease and had $8000 worth of work that had to be done. They told my husband the same thing. We went to a different dentist who after examining both of us told us that neither one of us had gum disease. This also happened to four other friends of mine. They are very unprofessional, the dentist worse flip flops during my friends examination. They are always "short handed" and you never see the same dentist twice. I wish the place would burn down! Oh and I didn't have $8000 worth of work done.....not even close. DO NOT GO THERE!

Its the most horrible dental place i have ever been to, The hygenist is terrible and does a terrible job, The place has no privacy at all and people walk in and out while your getting your treatment, they suggest expensive procedures while your getting your treatment done, which are not covered by your insurance company. They come across as a preplanned money minting group. Very unprofessional, No information about what needs to be done before you come for an treatment and no follow up what so ever after that. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Beware!!!

Don't go there
I have dental insurance. I paid my part of the bill. I can not get these Aspen people to bill my isurance correctly. They sent my personnal info to the wrong insurance company. Then they sent it to the wrong address and I still can not get then to correctly file. I have called every phone number I can find and now have sent letters to there Corp office, Billing Office and the Ohio Location. and of course they have not responded. I have never in all my years dealt with such rude people. I wish I never walked into there doors. By the way each bill I received from them has increased by hundreds of dollars. At first they were billing the insuracne Company 103.00, the last bill I got is 452.00. Stay away from them. stay a way!

all was well with the dentist serving leominster area however the higenist was very unprofessional...did not know her work at all change to this office due to change of coverage but will not go back..go for cleaning 3 times a year was with the same dentist for over 20 years and never did he say i had the problems she tried to say i had all a scam if you want to know the truth and i am not the only one that will never go there.... return to my dentist just too bad i have no coverage now

Going to Aspen Dental in Stow/Hudson Ohio was like being in hell. I can’t even begin to tell you the horror of it all.
I will tell you that they pulled some of my teeth that could have been saved. Aspen Dental is a slaughterhouse.
They also treat you like you’re less then human after they get your money.
I had to pick a star to continue with this complaint, I assure you I did not want to pick even one.
If there had been an option I would have picked a pile of Sh** for them.
