I called to order a dehumidifier and 2 carpet fans. The lady who answered was very nice and helped me out a lot! Excellent Service!!

I called this number, thinking it was a friend.The man answered and said "Good afternoon, American Tool." I replied that I had the wrong number and there was an audible sigh and a HANG UP. NOTHING was ever said.I find this really rude and disrespectful considering it is a business number and especially after they stated the business name. I will not be going here just for that reason since they clearly are not friendly over the phone so who knows what they will be like in person.

As a business, we have policies and if we bend the policies for one customer what is the use in having the policies. Our policy is and always has been there are no refunds or exchanges within 60 days of any event. If your original reservation is placed inside 60 days of the event, you order is as is.

I found linens here for my wedding. Their prices were reasonable, so I ordered them. They have a large selection that are sitting right there in their showroom. I recently tried to change the color of them, and the coordinator would not let me. She stated you can not take any items off your order within 60 days of the wedding. When I said, "I'm not reducing the number of linens, I'm still paying the same amount of money for the same number of items" she said I was not allowed to make changes within 60 days of the event. I asked if someone else had ordered the linens I wanted for the date of my event. She said no. So rather than let me change my order to the linens I want (that are still available) and satisfy a customer, she would let them sit on the shelf for the weekend of my wedding, and lose future business because I will never recommend anyone here. I know three friends getting married in Kinston next year and I will discourage them from going here.

I rented tables, chairs, linens, glassware, etc. for my daughter's wedding - I reserved 75 wood chairs. Prior to ordering the girl who waited on me said was I sure I wanted the wood chairs as they weren't as sturdy and we're 20 years old. She said they typically are rented for cookouts and children parties. I told her I was confused - either they were good or not? I sat in the wood and then the white chair - the wood were a bit more wobbly but not much more than the white. Since I had planned on this color I went forward and rented them. I signed the contract and paid half down. She highlighted verbally that I needed to initial by the no refunds or exchanges area on the contract. No problem. I asked for my copy of the contract and she said I would get it at pick up. So I really didn't think about it much.So on the drive to my office - 15 minutes later - I thought, maybe I should go with the white chairs. And decided that I would.
