Your trusted resource for making your home clean and comfortable for more than 100 years.
A century in comfort and convenience
There's a lot about indoor air quality that you might not know and certainly can't see. Up to 72 trillion microscopic irritants, or allergens, find their way into your home every day. They include dust, pollen, pet hair and dander, dust mites, mildew, lint, fungus, most tobacco smoke, cooking grease and bacteria. Many of these particles are so small that your nose and throat can't filter them out, and they can get deep into your lungs.
Breath easier with American Standard's AccuClean air filtration system -- it removes 99.98% of particles and allergens from the air in your home. AccuClean is 100 times more effective than conventional 1“ throw-away filters and ionic room appliances.
Choosing an American Standard air conditioner or heat pump with an Energy Star logo is an important step to saving money on your utility bills--along with consuming less energy. What can you expect from a unit carrying the Energy Star logo? Air conditioners or heat pumps that have this symbol are at least 20 percent more efficient than the federal government's current efficiency standard. Purchasing an American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning unit with the Energy Star label ensures that you're getting the highest efficiency available. Be sure to ask your American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning dealer about local incentives that are offered by many utility companies and financial institutions for the purchase of Energy Star products.

American Standard is a manufacture of heating and cooling systems. Companies become dealers and purchase these heating and cooling systems to install for their customers. American Standard is not a serivce company nor an installation company. If customers have problems with there system, please blame the dealer or contractor that installed the system. Not American Standard. If you at not satisfied with the installation, please contact American Standard customer support line and they WILL contact the distributer where the equipment is purchased and the problem will be resloved quickly. www.americanstandardair.com
My company has been installing American Standard products for the past 8 years and have never had a disatisfied customer. We make it top priority to take care of our customers if we have a problem after an installation.
So, Don't blame American Standard--------------Blame the Contractor!!!!!!!

This company exceeded every expectation of mine when they fixed my central heating. Deon, the service specialist was terrific. He checked everything meticulously and was friendly and informative. I would recommend requesting him! great overall service! thanks! Chris from parkville
This is a national franchise and not located in the Bangor Maine metro. This listing should be removed ASAP.

I'm looking for a company that can be trusted.
I have done business with Kaminer and it was a shame, their Technicians are OK, but, let me explain why I'm looking;
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently I considered buying a Package System from the Kaminer Group.
This was after your service man came and worked on our system that was not operational, this was on 07-08-2011, after some inspection, the total to get my system working ended up to be $687.00.
We also joined the Kaminer Maintenance Club at that time.
I paid this amount and was happy with the work done, but it seems that the technician didn't really find the problem. The results were a few days later the system failed again.
We called for service and your technician (Chris), came out. After inspecting the system, his diagnosis was that there was a leak in the Freon system.
Your tech quoted us a ball park figure of about $1,300 dollars to have it replaced, plus labor. He recommends that we replace our system because it was a 1998 system and was going to be a problem. We agreed to that.
We are not in a position to spend $7,570.00. The price we were given. Our adult children, heard of our plight and agreed to buy us a system, but they would find one in a more affordable price range and they did. So we bought the one they found, for $4,900.00
While we were deciding what to do and how to do it, before our children interceded, we bought a window air-conditioner. To relive the heat condition (I'm somewhat house bound and needed this
When the tech came to talk about the System we needed he noticed the window A/C and made an offer to let us use one he had in his van, we excepted his offer.
Then we found out the offer of our children, we accepted their offer and we notified Chris that we had changed our minds about purchasing the Colman system and requested he could pick-up his A/c and return of Check that we had a hold on.
When you tech did arrive he informed us that there would be a $99.00 service charge, he was told this by your office.
When I accepted the offer of the use of the A/C no one told me there would be a charge for the use of it, if I didn't buy the Colman system. I couldn't understand why I was being charged, I am a member of your Maintenance Club. I called your office on 08-11-2011 and was informed it wasn't a diagnostic service charge which wasn't covered under the Club plan.
To sum-up;
One the first repair appears to have missed something in the repair of $687.00 because the system fail shortly after.
No one told me there was a charge for the window A/C that cost me $99.00, because I didn't buy your System.
We are not very satisfied with the results of all this and request the return of our $99.00 service charge.
Please consider my request seriously. No one at anytime said there was a charge for the use of the Window A/C
------------------------------------------------------------------------
So now you understand, why, a company that appears to think of money first, beware of them
This is not a local Perry County company.
They sold me crap from the start..I should of check from the start on what was wrong.
Finally a great ac company. We had a horrible experience with harland johnson air conditioning. So it was a pleasant surprise to use your comapny and we will again. thank-you.

The best systems I have put in this year has been the Carrier made Payne brand. They are sold and installed by Branscum Enterprises in the Blytheville and Osceola area. They can be contacted at 870-740-0152
Should have done my homework. !!!!!. This system is just ok.! I feel real bad for buying this system.Just not what I though I was Buying. Should hve giving more consideration to the Carrier Infinity.
We just had a 95% efficient furnace installed. The price was great, the service was great, and to spend a few more bucks we'll save more than double on gas bills and be far more comfortable than ever. Glad we choose American Standard and glad we choose to get the 95 model.
American Standard has the best warranties in the industry. They use great materials that last a very long time. Very easy company to deal with.
American Standard once again has satisfied our comfort needs. Their new product line is like no other with outstanding reliability and comfort. The 95% furnace is not only a great value but we'll get $1,500.00 back from the government. The accuclean filter was also installed to help ease some asthma problems, it works 100 times better than our old throw away filters. Thanks again American Standard!
