If I could give a 6-Star Review, Rich would get it! .

We first met him when we asked him to give an estimate for work at our warehouse. All the other contractors were in and out then submitted their estimates to us. But Rich took his time and thoroughly examined our building, apprising us of some potential dangers. However, he was honest and did not include any extra work in his proposal. His pricing was better than all the others in the end. He did the work with improved suggestions from him at a cost savings to us.

Over the next few months, we had him do additional work for our business and we asked him to work at our home. We have found that he is extremely dependable. He stays in touch easily and is always early for work and on time.

He's a man of high ethics and our trust in him has grown in a short time. He's a pleasure to have around, working on small or large projects.

We would recommend Rich to anyone, anywhere, anytime. You will not regret calling on him.

Rich recently repaired a pair of fluorescent lighting fixtures that were not operating efficiently. I was very please in the manner that Rich repaired them and thought his fee was fair.

Rich did a tremendous job working on a number of projects, inside and outside, of our home. He was very knowledgable and took the time to explain our options and the pros and cons of each. Rich is such a reliable honest great electrician. He had 3 important jobs for my 85 year old Mom. The most important job was to replace an outside outlet that had caused a fire and melted the vinyl siding. He replaced with a much safer GFI covered outlet and even picked up the siding at Home Depot and replaced. He completed the 3 agreed projects and even troubleshot another circuit breaker issue. So when he left the house was safe, clean, and my elderly Mom reassured. Rich is a gem, hard to find in these times. Will always use.

I recently moved into a new home in Bergen County and was looking for an electrician in my area. After reading all of the positive reviews about American Electrical Construction, I ended up hiring them for all of my electrical needs. Rich, the owner, was absolutely fantastic. Very honest and upfront, not looking to overcharge me; he fixed the existing issues and upon further looking around, found additional hazards. He took the time to show me everything and explain what and why more items needed to be done. Rich was extremely pleasant, clean and delivered on the schedule and price. I felt so comfortable working with him, I gave him a key to access the new house so I wouldn't have to be there. He's my go-to guy now for all my electrical needs! I highly recommend him for any job, there aren't enough stars for rating, he's a 10!

I was getting quotes for a few electrical issues in my old Sparta, NJ home and read the positive reviews about American Electrical Construction. I ended up hiring them for all of my electrical needs and Rich, the owner and his brother performed an excellent job in a timely and clean manner. My Husband and I are very satified and will call them again should we need any new Electrical service.

I found AEC on the yellow page site. After having three electricians come to quote the job I chose to use Rich because of the professional attitude he had.

We had a new main panel installed with a transfer switch. He rewired my furnace and put four recessed lights in one of the bedrooms.

The job was done in a timely manner. He was attentive to aesthetics and very clean and neat. He covered all personal items from debris, cleaned up in the garage and when he finished you couldn’t tell he was ever there. The job itself was buttoned up very nicely.

It was a pleasure doing business with Rich after some of the experiences I have had with other so called “Tradesmen”.

I would highly recommend AEC for any electrical need and I will hire him again.

I have only good things to say about the job these guys did for me. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and for the price quoted. Actually, my job required more than what was quoted and they did it for the same price. I plan on calling them back to do other things around the house.

Rich was really great, he came out on time and day he said, and took care of all the paperwork from the town. Rich had to replace my service lines and meter box due to branches falling and ripping out my wires. He also removed some items that were no longer necessary. His work was real clean and neat. Rich did an amazing job installing the main panel in our electric box. Finally, an honest and capable electrician. I called Rich and he came immediately to help us. We are selling our house and failed our electric inspection and had an upcoming home inspection. It was not an easy job, Rich had to replace most our electric panel due to a prior electrician's incompetent work. In addition, he was present for our re-inspection. Give him a call if you need an electrician. You won't be sorry!

Rich came within hours of calling to do a relatively complex job! He gave us a quote that was an average price for the job, and stuck to it despite having many issues arise that made the job much more difficult and time consuming. He was also a pleasure to talk to. Rich replaced the old fuse boxes in the apartment building I own. He was very professional and courteous with my tenants and I. He took time to explain what he was doing and addressed all of my concerns in a direct and comprehensive manner. I am happy with the job he did and would recommend him to others.
