Over priced, slow workers, mangegers argue with you. Hold your belongings hostage till you pay the high prices, 1 bedroom, apt 6 1/2 hours and almost $800. Don't use them, broke parts of bed, lost parts off it too. -

BEWARE - this company is a scam and…
BEWARE - this company is a scam and keeps changing its name cause the ICC goes after them. They move very slowly so they can charge you more money; they only accept cash and want their money before they unload at new location; they will then tell you it will cost 'X' amt to unload but will move very slowly so that you must pay for what they've done up to that point and then it will cost 'X' amount to unload the rest. If you refuse to pay they will take your stuff and hold it hostage. I can't tell you how many things of mine that were damaged. I testified against them at an ICC hearing. The keep popping up under other names. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Father and Son - All My Sons - or any variation of this company.

Horrible experience.
Horrible experience. Beware of many details that they don't tell you about over the phone:
1. BEWARE: once the moving guys appear at your doorstep, the "clock" starts right then---the first hour or so they do an "inventory" of the contents of the house--they don't even start moving anything until after the inventory is done
2. BEWARE: they make you sign a paper before they start moving that they are NOT responsible for any damages caused to your house or to the things that they are moving during the moving process
3. BEWARE: this has never happened to me before--before they unload your stuff off their truck into your destination home--they make you PAY first then only do they unload--so this way, if they do damage anything--guess what?? they already have your money. In fact, this happened to one of my nice pieces of furniture, the guy accidentally dropped it, damaged it, but already had my money
4. once they arrive at your house & prior to unloading...they call their "boss" who will ask them about how much time will it take to unload the truck--they will then add this "guesstimated" time to your cost....
5. I have moved many times--I would highly recommend hiring a moving company that charges one flat rate from door to door than paying by the hour

These guys are the worst. They have lots of different names Father and Son moving / Neighbors moving / all in the family moving / All My Sons moving. They lie and tell you about family men on the truck and all these relatives that work there they are full of it. Its movers like this who give all movers a bad name. SCAM ARTIST.

It was a mistake to use this mover.
It was a mistake to use this mover. Their scheduler called the day before the scheduled move and confirmed the move, indicating they would be there the next afternoon between 1p.m. and 3 p.m. On the day of the move they called at 2 p.m. and said the morning move was bigger than they expected so couldn't make it. Rescheduled for first thing the day after (they were booked solid for the next day) and was assured they would be there between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., called at 9 a.m. when they weren't there, and scheduler said they made a mistake and move was scheduled between 1 p.m and 3 p.m. Sure were sorry.
The only reason they deserve one star is because of their moving crew - they tried hard and only destroyed one bookcase.
Come time for payment, they don't take Amex - although both the booker and scheduler said they took all forms of payment except personal check. So paid with cash, but crew doesn't have any change so they make a couple of extra bucks on that too.
Overall, can't recommend because they are not reliable. -
BAD CHOICE!
BAD CHOICE! When I first called to get a quote, the woman who answered seemed to be upfront with the costs. She said that I would be allowed up to 1/2 travel time each way for the movers to get from the warehouse to my pick-up location then back when unpacking complete. I was told that the clock would start when they got to my location for a minimum charge of 2 hrs. I even spoke to the owner later that day to book the move and was told the same info. However, when it comes to moving day the guy I dealt with charged me an extra hour for that travel time. He argued with me for 15 mins insisting that I was wrong--Some customer service, huh? My pick-up location was a 5 min drive for their warehouse and my drop-off was only 4 mile further! I never would have hired them if they told me I would be charged for an hour travel time in addition to the 2 hour minimum moving time. I told them I would give them a bad review when they argued with me on the phone..so here it is- terrible customer service. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the actual moving guys took ok care of my stuff, not great, but ok..only a little damage--basically distroyed a bookshelf, but everything else seemed to far ok...though I don't know how a 4 mile move could go this badly!

Horrible, horrible experience! I called and got a quote and then called about a week later to confirm the quote again and booked my move a month in advance and then the quote changed 2 days before my move. I had 2 pickup locations one of which was out of town. I was told I would be charged 2 hours travel. The labor clock would start when they got to the first location and stop once they were done at that location and then when they got to the second pickup location the clock would start back and not stop until everything was unloaded at the final destination. Two days before my move I was told the labor clock would start at the first pickup location and not stop until everything was unloaded at the final destination plus the 2 hours of travel. This would have added $200-$300 to the original quote. I was told the truck would leave the warehouse between 7:30 - 8:00 am on the day of my move. I was called the day of my move and told they were running an hour late. After they were about 3 hours late the called and cancelled my move. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING & STORAGE!!!! Moving is stressful enough that you don't need to add any more stress because your moving company who tells you when you schedule your move "welcome to the family, we will do everything we can to accomadate you and make your move as easy as possible," puts you in the biggest bind on the day you have to move.

Showed up on time.
Showed up on time. Two of the most pleasant gentlemen moved my mothers things to her new home. It was almost a hundred degrees out in San Antonio Texas and never once did I hear a complaint. Very professional and speedy. These guys never took a break and moved with speed. The move cost exactly what they quoted me. They will always be my first choice in movers and will recommend them to anyone! Kudos Leslie and Richard, your the type of people that make moving so much easier!!!

The SLOWEST, MOST EXPENSIVE, WORST…
The SLOWEST, MOST EXPENSIVE, WORST MOVING COMPANY! I thought I was so smart doing research beforehand and was impressed with the information I was given over the phone so even though more expensive than other places I hired All My Sons. The agreement was 4 men ("very fast yet careful experienced movers who get bonuses based on how quickly they complete the job), 2- 26 foot trucks, start at my house, then go to my husbands house (4 miles away) to get his things then our final destination (less than 1 mile from his). I end up with 1 truck, a move that took ALL day and a $1300.00 invoice!

Stole some items
I hired "All My Sons" in August 2010 to move my stuff from Michigan to California. From the beginning I had problems with this company, things that bothered me, but I blew it off. Once my belongings were actually delivered to my new home in California (which they held onto my stuff for over a month, and delivered it past their own estimated date of delivery), I quickly realized I was missing a box. A box containing a Gamecube gaming console, about a dozen games for the system, and an XBOX. When I called the company to report my missing box, I was told that unless I purchased insurance before hand, all I could get was a small amount of money back for each pound of missing or damaged items. I was upset, but let this go. Now, months later, I realize I am missing at least 4 movies that I am aware of. My movies were in a box, and unfortunately the box was labeled "movies". My only guess is an employee actually opened up the box, looked through to find what they wanted, and taped the box back up. I do not recommend anyone to use this company. They are very hard to get a hold of when you have concerns and will lie to you to make you happy..

This is not a move done by All My Sons Moving & Storage of Knoxville. We have never had an incident of theft in our office and this move was from Michigan to California-which All My Sons of Knoxville would not have done.

**BEWARE**
All My Sons needs to be put out of business. They lied about their rates, they showed up 4 hours early at 8:30 am (called seven times with 7 messages… obviously was not at the house), they were rude and complained during the entire moving process, upon arrival to the new location they demanded payment (a price I might add which was double what the contract said) otherwise everything would be locked up in storage, and the manager, Nick, was the most unpleasant, disrespectful, rude human being I have ever had the displeasure of "doing business" with.
All My Sons, if you make the mistake of using them, will charge you well over what they quote while adding on extraneous expenses (such as 21$ for packing tape) that you did not use.
We were females who were only moving half a mile away with very limited items to be moved- mainly the heavy things we obviously could not lift. The entire experience was absolutely horrifying only tempered by the sweet nature of one of the movers… whom we could not afford to tip as we were obscenely overcharged.

All my sons of Knoxville Opened in its doors in March of 2011. The All my sons referenced here is an unrelated company that has been using our name for over a year. We have tried to remove thier use of our name and are still fighting it. Our customer service is what has made us on of the nations most successful customer driven moving companies around. Chris G.
