Success! Thanks for posting your review of Alamo Steak House. You’ve done the world some good today.

This was the worst meal I have ever had. A restaurant that calls themselves a steakhouse, especially one with a Texas reference, should have a decent steak. I ordered a NY Strip cooked medium. It was so tough it took everything I had to cut through it, and it was difficult to chew. My husband ordered the same, cooked medium rare, and his was all fat and gristle. I will say our waiter was very nice and attentive.... view more

Worst Service, Food Prices Ever

This restaurant was the worst steak house I have ever been to. Me and a group of friends and family ate here in October of 2010. The wait was too long. The menu prices sucked. The cheapest price for steak was $14 and it wasn't even steak. It was hamburger meat. The waitress was totally rude and uninviting. The total for me and 4 other people to eat was over $100. To top it off the way over priced hamburger me... view more

Excellent food and service

We visit this area often and ALWAYS eat at the Alamo.\r Their steaks are fantastic, salads are fresh and crispy, bread is excellent.\r \r We have a number of family allergies and their chef is very in tune with supporting this need. They actually cooked a steak separately for my grandson to insure that there was no wheat contamination.

The waitress was a little put out when we got a $25 coupon from a time share. She was still showing some fussing when we didn't order alcohol or dessert. The prices was very high $24 a T-Bone steak with 2 sides, and $20 for grilled salmon with 2 sides. Surprisingly both were very good. I have spent that kind of money on elite restaurants, and this wasn't elite. Anyway, we never was asked or brought refills on our dri... view more

A tourist rip-off

What amuses me every time I drive past the Alamo Steakhouse is their sign proudly proclaiming they were voted best in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. By whom? Having been there 3 times over the last 2 years, I can say that I've never had a decent meal in either location. The meat has an old flavor, and once, when we were driving to the parking lot of the Gatlinburg location, we watched a box of frozen steaks being haule... view more

Best steak...ever.

This place was so delicious we went back two nights in a row while on vacation. We had the fillet mignon and a rib eye. We're from Iowa so we've had some very good steak in our day but this is by far the best steak either of us have ever had. The service was great also. It's a little bit pricey but completely worth it!
