I was surprised to see such negative reviews here. My wife and I recently moved to Nashville, Green Hills area. Since I already had a car loan with Suntrust, I figured I would check out their personal banking since there was one down the street. The gentleman who helped us out, Zach, was incredibly helpful and definitely made us feel like valued customers. He has since helped me with various questions via email, always quick with a response. During my first in-bank deposit I was greeted by a friendly teller and the transaction was quick and easy. Now I am able to manage my car loan easily through my Suntrust account. There are Suntrust banks all over Tennessee, so getting cash from an ATM and making deposits is always convenient. We're glad to be part of Suntrust Bank - Green Hills.
We switched to Bank of Nashville from our previous national brand bank a little over 2 years ago. We have been very pleased with their level of service and personal contact. My only small complaint would be that I wish they had more convenient drive through banking.
I was sorely disappointed when I asked to exchange a 20 dollar bill for two rolls of quarters for my girl scout troops cookie booth. Because my name was not on a bank account they refused to help me, even though is was a direct money exchange.
