I recently got a massage and facial at the new Massage Envy in Greenhills, I was really excited and needed some intense relaxation. The front desk was wonderful extremely kind and personable, excellent. Kimberely was my therapist ans she was AMAZING! Great firm touch she worked on the areas that I asked her to and I could tell that she really cares about what she does. It was the perfect balance of getting my knots out and still relaxing. It has a great flow about it. Please go see Kimberely she is awesome:) My facial however was really bad, my aesthetician talked 90% of the time, the facials are more expensive but the massage therapist did WAY more work. She put me under the steamer but didn't cleanse my skin, so I was laying under the steamer with makeup on, she kept opening up cabinet doors and talking, the products were cold on my face, the facial massage was good, but the mask was cold, she left during my mask and i didnt get any eyepads. To me its all in the details and there were so many shortcuts that are included in a great facial. Massage envy should invest in better products for there aestheticians to use. This is a great place for massages, go see KIMBERELY, she's awesome! However if you are a facial lover I would go elsewhere :(((
Contacted Beewaxed Spa Studio on the advice of a good friend and it was the best thing I did. The Spa is located near Baptist Hospital (behind Krispy Kreme) and is easy to find with free parking in the garage. I was met by the owner, Joann. she was friendly and personal and immediately made me feel at ease. I had requested a 2 hour massage (great rates!!) because of all the travelling I that I have been doing over the last month. when I arrived I had a headache and terrible muscle tension. But after the massage therapy my neck and shoulders felt great and NO more headaches. That night I had the best sleep that I have had in the last 2 months...no more aches. I would recommed Beewaxed Spa Studio to anyone wanting to get a great massage and feel better.
So, I have been going to Vogue Nail Spa for a few months now. All I can say is how much I enjoy the staff, and thank goodness I found a RELIABLE nail salon. I actually needed a pedi last weekend, but refused to go somewhere else... so I waited till I could get to Vogue. Today I got the soak-off gel nail polish. I'm new to this, but to my understanding its a type of polish they "bake on" to your nails. But it doesnt harm your nails at all. They had about 60 colors to choose from! All of the newest OPI colors, and some classic favorites too. I chose the color bubble bath, or some orchid color. Its a super pretty light pink. So happy my nails will look beautiful for atleast 2 weeks!! Thanks! :)
