I typical sports bar. Pizza is pretty good. A little overpriced for what you get. The inside has a pretty cool atmosphere.

Don't eat here very often but have always had decent food and service. Seems a little loud inside. They have a small section of outdoor seating.

We went to the Hwy 70 Jonathan's location for dinner last night, and were seated outside on the patio. There was a family sitting next to us that had already finished eating and was just waiting for their check. After 5 minutes, no one had come to either table, and the father of the family commented that he thought we had been abandoned. The family finally sent their 8-10 yr old son to go find the waitress. A few minutes later he returned with their check, but still no waitress. The father gave his son a credit card which the son took inside, paid and returned again, still with no waitress. The family left, and by now we had waited about 15 minutes without being spoken to be a single employee of Jonathan's, so we got up and left.

This Bellevue Sports Bar might be the best place in Nashville to watch the game. No other sports bar gives you the feeling of actually being at the game. The food is good. The beer is cold. There are lots of nice people just like you. See you at kick-off !

When I first moved to the bellevue area I was impressed to find a sports bar that was so highly regarded by the people I worked with. I heard how good the food and atmosphere was so I decided to check them out. The first time I went I was amazed at the flat panel televisions that lined the ceilings and the upscale atmosphere that you don't find at many sportsbars. Then when I found out that they showed the UFC pay per views I found a replacement for buffalo wild wings (which is way more trouble than its worth to go to). When family came in one afternoon I took them there for an early dinner and had one of the worst waitresses ever, she almost completely ignored our table and sat down at another table to talk to people who she knew while she was on duty! We had to get up and walk over to her to ask her for the check---just really super. I didn't really care about it so much because like I said earlier they showed the UFC pay per views. Thats until this year when they stopped. How I found out was I went there one saturday night and the place was filled with screaming children and the elderly. I asked the waitress and she said that they weren't showing it and didn't know why. So the bottom line to this place is that in a few months of when I started going it turned from a cool hang out into a bar for screaming children and elderly who could care less about whats on tv. Its really sad because it they didn't get so cheap they would fill the place wall to wall again and turn a huge profit. Its got a great setup but I guess they are trying to turn it into a bar with a family atmosphere. Whoever owns this place needs to get their head out of the ground and realize that they are driving customers away. Very simply, do not go to this place. I have found too many other bars with better food and who do not cater to families. After all, its not supposed to be a Chuckie Cheese.

What a horrible place to eat, drink and socialize! I recently visited jonathan's bar & grille and I must tell you I will NEVER go back again. First off... the hostess looked as if she hadn't bathed in days and had the nastiest frown on her face... should've have been my que to turn around and walk out!! Next the server looked just about as nasty as the hostess. The table was filthy... the restrooms were filthy... the place was filled with smoke... the food tasted as if it were freezer burned... absolutely disgusting! The service was HORRIBLE!!! I also overheard one of the servers say they would be closing the kitchen early, so they could get things cleaned up before their health inspection. Maybe the health inspector needs to do an unannounced visit to Jonathan's... that way the town of Bellevue could rid themselves of this dirty place and get a real sports bar in its place!

I live in Bellevue and my wife and I could definitely be considered regulars. Not because it is the best in Nashville but the best in Bellevue. The food is good and way better than O'Charley's or ""Crapapplebees"". I agree with the prior visitor that the smoke is ridiculous. Nashville should be smoke free but Jonathan's makes no attempt to install smoke-eaters or separate dining areas from the bar area.
My main complaint is that it calls itself a sports bar yet there could be SEC games on and they will play a) loud mainstream music (i.e. 107.5 style) or b) have a less than average musician. I have no problem with musicians but when you come to a ""sports bar"" and get blasted with kareoke, etc. it really ruins your experience. We have left to go home on numerous occasions because of the ""music"". Play the game over the speakers!!!! Another odd thing is that they bring in musicians with the volume way up during the dinner crowd....ridiculous. We love sitting at the bar and playing the trivia game. My advice is be what you play yourself to be...a sports bar.

The first times we went to Jonathan's, we really enjoyed ourselves. Good food, TVs, no-smoking section. Then we went back this week to eat, only to be told that there wouldn't be a no-smoking section for us because ""we have a party of 30 coming in that wants the whole restaurant to be smoking."" Have a no-smoking section or don't, but to change on a whim and sell out your customers because some smokers want it that way is weak.
