While there has obviously never been an instance in which I found myself desperately needing the worst kinds of food at 4 am, I am vaguely aware that some people have found themselves faced with this issue, and this review is written for you incorrigible folk.

As one of the only 24-hour establishments, Café Coco holds a revered place in my heart. There is something immensely comforting in knowing that, no matter how late it gets, there are options that will serve me actual food (as op

The variety here is fantastic: pizza, pastas, salads, breakfast foods, even cheesecake (Godiva is highly recommended). I have tried numerous things here, and never been disappointed. I have never been wowed either, but I will take "not disappointed" any time after midnight.

This place also has a lovely patio outdoor, but a warning is that it is populated by a seemingly non-migratory population of hipsters with cigarettes, so plan on inhaling a good amount of cancer here. Inside, there are often poetry or writers' nights to enjoy in the back room. A wide variety of people, events, and foods in one place, I would describe this as one of the more eclectic places in Nashville.

Most UNWELCOMING place i have ever been to!

Hello, my name is James,, and i have been visiting this place called ""cafe coco"" or what it should be called ""filthy old shack with trashy drunken people"", for quite some years now, - here and there that is... however, last nights most unfriendly service with the depressing looking and unfriendly staff member dude with the long hair, really put a nail on the vibe it should and could have been.
he was like:"" yeah, what ? ... bla bla bla... not really forming a question towards me
...view more and my friend nor greeting us in any friendly manner, we took from it that we where to go ahead and order some food. A little afterwards i had ordered another drink, which he fortified and prepared right after handling a dirty floor mat right in front me and then using his dirty hands, without following restaurant standards and health service protocol , by wearing some damn latex kitchen gloves -just like every other Jimmy Johns restaurant on planet earth, to arrange the lid of my drink ( which was supposed to be hot)... oh yeah and also the money transaction all in one. Above all... almost no real words where exchanged, due to his lack of actually wanting to seem as if he cared to provide somewhat great costumer service. Alos, what;'s up with this police dude hanging out every time visit this ""cafe"". He might be looking out for some crime or what not, but why must i be starred at by him, as if he was into me? Like really, what's up with the gayness? I feel wrong for being straight when i sit down and see a police man starring at me ..EVERY time i am there.
Cafe Coco really messed up big this time. I hope they can understand what it means to operate a damn restaurant... as for me ... Cafe Diko has permanently LOST ME AS A good Paying COSTUMER! :: )i am happy to spend my hard earned money elsewhere! perhaps the future will build a better more welcoming and non bias restaurant in out community.

Great food, Great atmosphere, Not so great service

I love Cafe Coco and have been going there since junior high school. One drawback is that you have to squeeze through crowds and struggle to find seating for you and those with you. The Turkey Rockafeller is the best sandwhich on the menu and my favorite drink is the Honey Nut Cheerio. I have gotten my things to go on more than one occasion due to some obnoxious customer, but that's just part of Coco's. :) If I could change anything, it would have to be the long lines and wait times. Never even got our lunch!

We went for lunch and had an appointment we had to keep. We waited in a line of maybe 10 people and then placed our order. After we had placed our order, a person came up and asked where their food was. The order taker said it was the next ticket. Fifteen minutes later, they got their food. There were at least 5 orders ahead of ours (You can tell because the tables waiting have big green numbers). At that rate, we would have waited over an hour for two sandwiches. We told the order tak...view moreer we had to leave and they would not refund our order. Not impressed and won't go again.view less

Pretty great place to go!!!

So living in the Nashville area I find myself stopping by Cafe CoCo's on a regular basis. I love everything from the people working there, to the coffee, and the food! It's a great place to go and maybe get homework done while sipping on a coffee, or just chatting with some friends before or after the club. I love that it is open 24 hours. Makes it convienent to go whenever you can. I would def say that everyone should go. Just not when I do because the line can get pretty long. Not th...view moree best place to go if your in a hurry.. But if you want to chill, relax and just think. Def worth going :)view less

Wonderful food and environment

My daughter is attending Vanderbilt this fall. We stayed at the Music City hostel downtown and they recommended Coco Cafe. We LOVED it! When my daughter had to go to orientation meetings the next day...I went back by myself and enjoyed every bite! The environment is very friendly. I give it a big thumbs up!

great late night hangout

the food is decently priced and they have great drinks. I highly recommend the peaches 'n cream italian soda and the white satin coffee drink. it's loud inside but it has a great laid-back atmosphere and is a great place to meet up with a group of friends.

DO NOT PARK IN THE PAY LOT

DO NOT PARK IN THE PAY LOT next to Cafe Coco. \r
\r
We paid $5 to park there and got booted anyway. It happened to a couple of other cars that night, too. All of us paid. All of us got booted. All of us had to pay $50 to get the boot removed. I remember joking that we should have filmed ourselves putting money into the slot in case we got towed. Well, joke's on us. I won't park there again, but if you do, generate your own record for paying.\r
