Sambuca is a great lounge; very upbeat yet relaxed, fabulous roof area great for big groups and looking at the gulch's surroundings, good live local jazz & other talented musicians on a nice & unique stage, and food that's pretty good. My only problem is the price of cocktails and domestic beers. I understand a business has to make a profit, but $11 for a simple Black Russian? $4.50 for a Miller Lite? $14 for a martini? Good gracious, your bill will hit the roof before you even get a buzz, and the amount paid for a buzz could buy over 2 handles of high quality liquor that could serve over 50 cocktails. Way too expensive for the product, but the surroundings make up for it if you're wealthy.

From Business: The show that made country music famous is now making its mark on Southern cuisine in a new Nashville restaurant as uniquely entertaining as the Grand Ole Opry itse…
I stopped by this afternoon to check out this new restaurant because my wife and I live in the neighborhood and have been looking for a local neighborhood bar and restaurant that meets our expectations of delicious food, cool atmosphere, and great people. I couldn't have been more impressed with my first experience here. The menu is expansive. The TVs are plentiful. Management was extremely helpful and forthcoming. I can't wait to spend more time here as the weather gets nicer and they finish up the back patio area. Well done 404!
A really fun place to go with a group. The food is an order-at-the-counter situation and a server will assist your with drinks or you can get them yourself. The downstairs typically has live music and the other levels offer other experiences. There is also a roof top. The drawback here is that it is really packed all the time and it can be hard to hear when you are on the bottom level due to the live band. The food is solid and they offer really fun holiday celebrations as well!
