J&C Chimney and Masonry

I am semi-retired now and I asked J&C Chimney and Masonry to help with repairs and maintenance that I had neglected when I was fully employed. Each project came out better than I remember it being when I bought the house almost 30 years ago. I would not hesitate to ask for other repairs or new projects such as walks and walls, fire-pits or chimneys. They know the business and materials. As an engineer I tended to ask many questions and try to understand the choices that were made. They did inside work (firebox repair) and outside work, both above (significant chimney maintenance) and below grade (rebuilt 70 year old window wells) and mixed different mortars and brought different bricks, construction blocks and other materials as appropriate for each job. There is lots of lifting, mixing, measuring, leveling and striking in this business and I didn't feel like the jobs were rushed. Sometimes outdoor work can be slowed by bad weather, but when you respect the weather you get a better job. I'll give J&C Chimney and Masonry first option on future work.
