Toms Mobile RV Service

I have to admit part of the blame goes to me because I never asked for a quote, but I contacted Toms to connect up my Brake buddy and we made an appointment, I thought it would only take 1 person maybe 2 hours at most to connect leads to the battery and mount a breakaway switch in the front grill.. I expected to pay no more than $300.00 and they come with a truck and two people, I live in Naples (thats where they came from) and they charged $115.00 for a service charge, arrived at 8:30 and finished at 10:30 (2 hours) and charged me another $690.00 for labor (No Parts) for a total of $731.14 with no parts, yet they charged me $41.40 for Tax). I dont know why they sent 2 people, only one person can work in the front seat of a car installing this Brake Buddy. They are just in this area taking advantage of the people here . Breakdown is $182.75 per hour for each of the two people. If you want to pay those prices by all means hire them, but there are other qualified mechanics at reasonable rates available.

My inverter failed. I went to the Tom's website and entered my information for a return call. He called me in under 20 minutes, had read my description of my issues, and was prepared with options. Amazingly his first option entailed advice and direction that I could do to remedy the situation myself. We then discussed additional service options and his rates for an onsite call. Very professional and helpful. Prompt response to my email service request.

I also would not be able to recommend this service. I called and got voice mail, so I left a message. Receiving no response, I subsequently left a message through their website. I still recd no reply. Even if they were too busy, you would expect a return call telling you that they could take no more jobs. I then called RV Support Services, and because it was a plumbing problem, he said he would come out the same day, and he did. I would still be waiting for Toms!

Toms Mobil RV service cannot be recomended. They are the rudest business I have ever dealt with, I had an appt with them and when I called on the appt day for an approx time ( at their suggestion) I was told "sometime today" and when I simple asked for a call from the tech before he arrived, Denise told me that they can't guarantee that since sometimes the techs "forget. Since I didn't expect to wait all day, I told Denise tht anyone with an IQ over 90 could have the courtesy to call. She hung up.. She called back and told me that after talking with "Tom" I could just get someone else to do the warranty repair on my Pinacle washer...and she hung up on me again. Rude! Sloppy BUSIINESS practices. DO NOT CALL OR DEPEND ON TOMS MOBILE RV SERVICE
