Regal Cinemas Hollywood 20 - Naples

My wife and I went to see "Wild" on 12-20-14. The movie was supposed to start at 12:40 pm. It didn't. We had to sit through 20 minutes of previews first!!! A few minutes worth would be OK, but not 20 minutes worth. Regal Hollywood will be the last theatre in town we'll go to when we want to see another movie.

very lousy movie theaters. kids are rude. parents are loud. seating uncomfortable, food TERRIBLE!

Regal Cinema's in Naples has enacted a 'Requirement' that all purses and bags must be searched or as the say 'take a quick peak'. When I absolutely refused to submit to an unnecessary invasion of my privacy the manager said it was for the safety of all in the theater because I could have a weapon. However, there was no check on my husband or pocket check of any other male. 

I understand safety, however, by singling out women and women's purse it would appear that their safety issue is more of one related to their snack bar and not any welfare of their customers. Way to take advantage of horrible recent events! I will NEVER return to your theater and I will NEVER allow you to bully me for what is clearly a concern for profits.

For anyone that goes there, please note that they are not legally allowed to search you and since they DO NOT give prior notice you can get a refund. Which is exactly what I did!

Only one ticket booth was open and it took me 35 minutes to buy tickets and then 25 minutes to buy popcorn. I missed 40 minutes of my movie. I told the manager and she said " it's not our fault, you need to get here earlier".

The movie theater is very good. Its a big movie theater so there almost never sold out. They also have alot of game you can play in the the movies theater.
