Purchased a special order sofa and loveseat for $1700 and was told 6 weeks but could take up to eight weeks. We wanted it sooner but we were ok to wait. After 9 weeks we called and they said that it still wasn't in and could be another month. That was ridiculous and we said we wanted our money back. We were told we could but it would take another 10 days to get or money back. I wasn't going to wait that long so I went to the store. That's where it went from bad to worse because I now had to deal with the general manager Kim Miles. When I arrived she told me that I couldnt get my money back because it was a special order. I told her we already spoke with Michael who was our salesperson and he said we could bc it was well past the time it was supposed to be in. She called me a liar saying none of my paperwork says 6 weeks and all special orders take 12 to 14 weeks. She than took me to a display of a couch I didnt buy and said look all the tags say 12 to 14. I than repeated that our salesperson said 6 weeks and again she called me a liar saying he has been in the furniture business forever. I than told her to show me the tags on the furniture we bought(at this point she asked me to leave bc I was extremely agitated when once again she told me I wasn't going to receive a refund). We went over to the furniture I bought and amazingly the tags on it said 4 to 6 weeks for all special orders! Now came her backtracking which included apologies for the signs being wrong but never one for her flat out calling me a liar. She than emailed to have the refund issued and I was told she would follow up on Monday. Now I am a retail mgr and know credits take a few business days to go back on the card but after 5,I had to once again call and was told by the office mgr Debbie that the refund was not issued and that corporate was trying to locate the furniture in shopping before they could refund it. Kim was"in a meeting" but after I told them that they either get her on the phone or will have me in the store yelling so every customer could hear, she was somehow able to come to the phone. She finally issued the refund to my card now blaming corporate for sending an email forgetting to copy her on it. The funniest part of the whole thing was we went to city furniture the next day after the refund was supposed to be issued and was sitting on my new couches before the refund ever went through to my card. I caution anyone to never buy furniture from here.
