Carl's Patio, Inc

These people are crooks. I ordered $8200 worth of patio furniture from in the middle of August. I was promised a “beginning of September” delivery. September came and I didn’t hear from Carl’s Patio, so I stopped in to see where everything was. They told me that my table ($2700) was backordered until the middle of October! I asked why my salesman (Jimmy) didn’t call to inform me and they told me that he “was no longer with the company”. I told them that I wanted to cancel my order and then presto, they were able to “find pieces from other peoples’ orders”.



Next thing you know, they promised me a September 4th delivery. The delivery guys showed up on the 4th, but there was NO TABLE! I called the store manager and got a huge run around. They told me that they would be able to get me a table by Tuesday, Sept. 8th. Then they told me they could get me one this afternoon. When I asked them to confirm that it was the same as the table I ordered, they began to lie even more. They said that it would not be the same table, but that we could use it until ours came in. All I had to do was sign off that I received all of the goods from them. Hell no! Do I look like I was born yesterday?



I told them to take all of their furniture out of my house and refund my credit card. They told me that they would take everything, but they “weren’t sure” they’d be able to refund me my money. I called my credit card company to deny the charges. So glad I didn’t pay cash. SCAMMERS!
