I have searched for months to have an old tattoo covered up. Everyone in my area said either it couldn't be done or the ones willing to do it, their portfolio SUCKED!! I found Elite Ink Tattoo and saw that Bobby Lanz's speciality was coverups. I emailed him and he was very prompt on returning my email. After reviewing pictures of my old tattoo and what I wanted for my new tattoo, Mr Lanz was confident that he could indeed help me. My new tattoo is AWSOME. I will be making the 51/2 hour drive again soon to have him to do another cover up. The shop is EXTREMELY CLEAN and ALL of the artist are AWSOME people. They make a person feel comfortable and welcome. It was like being around one big family. I reccommend anyone wanting work done or even a cover up of old BS work, the drive is deffinately worth the quality of work and the experience you will recieve.

According to the online portfolio of the artists I saw, Elite seemed like the place I wanted to get my next tattoo. I am not able to drop in to make an appointment, so according to their facebook page email is a preferred way to contact them related to discuss appointments or consultations. I got no response, I PMed them in FB and finally after 4 days of trying got a persobal email of the artist that would be available the day I wanted to set up an appointment. I was also told the artist would be able to draw up what I wanted if I sent it through email as well as what time he was available that day. I started this whole process a week before I wanted to come in, I never heard from the artist and have moved on to a different shop with equally impressive portfolios and excellent customer service! I guess Elite doesn't need my business or money, sad because I planned on being a repeat customer, but I am happy to have found a place in which appears to respect my business.
My mother and I went in to Elite for a new tattoo for my birthday, I looked it up before going and only saw good reviews and saw all of the artists' portfolio's online. We went in and received wonderful service. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The shop was sterile and my tattoo came out exactly how I wanted. Once mine was all done my mom considered getting a cover-up and she talked to Mike - when they decided on an idea he drew it up and it came out beautifully and looked like a picture. I would suggest going to Elite 100%. The prices aren't bad and you get amazing work and are in a good atmosphere the entire time.

Just left elite ink on seaboard street from a 6 hour sit down with tattoo artist Shane.I have to say my rib piece was painful but it was all worth it considering the level of professionalism and great artistic skill that Shane produces with each tattoo. Honestly! Couldn't have asked for any better than what I received at elite ink, so if your looking to get a tattoo head down to elite and ask for shane.!
My Girlfriend and I were in MB for vacation with our family. We had an appointment at another studio. They closed because of the Hurricane. We stopped in at Elite. What a lucky turn for us. We love the Palmetto Trees that Kylee and Shane did for us. Thanks guys...
From the time we walked thru the door I just knew this was the place to get our first tattoos! The smell of cleanliness, the artist and counter people had us feeling like family from the second we walked thru door! There was no pressure and no obligations at all! That Bobby had my wife in ahhhh! That's all I heard about after we got back to the room! The tattoo was perfect Bobby did more than an amazing job, and the price was perfect! We stopped in in all the other shops in Myrtle and all I have to say is stay away! Elite rocks!!!!!!
Got my first (with more to come) tattoo with Hank at Elite Ink Tattoo! Wonderful job! They stand by the name "Elite" and offer the best around! Planning on returning for my next one. Recommend highly!
