The kitchen is open and you can watch the guys make your food. The dressings (mainly the dried tomato balsamic vin.) are nothing like anything else you will find in Muncie. The bread is uniquely seasoned and I love that it's family style (yes, at times it can be dry but for the most part it great). I love a great crunchy crust and that's what you find on these loaves of bread. The constant care by not only the servers but the management is so welcoming. The next time you are at Carinos look around and I can guarentee you will see a manager walking around talking to the guests. The food is made from scratch (for the most part, the pasta comes dried but the sauces in your dish are made when you order) and you can taste the difference. The food may take a little longer but that's because your food is made when it's ordered. The cooks don't have a chicken scallopini waiting for you to order so it will take longer (be patient, it's absolutely worth the wait). The only thing that I would like to change is the size of the cups, you finish your coke in three sips. The tiramisu is made fresh every morning and is amazing. If you don't have room for a regular sized dessert ask about the minis, they are the perfect size. The last thing that I would like to say about Carinos and the management, plese don't be afraid to try something new. If you don't like it the management will have your old favorite made for you, they will change the item on your ticket so you aren't paying for a dish you didn't like and didn't eat (taking into consideration you haven't eaten most of your dinner and then complained about the taste).
