Abe's Oyester House

I took my girlfriend there last weekend to get some oysters and beer. the menu said 9.99 for a bucket of oysters, that was a crock of $hit. The Beaufort oysters were $20 for a bucket, not $10. For $10 we got Florida oysters, but I figured I'd give 'em a try. When we got them, they were in a bucket that was about half the size I'm used to at other places and it was only a 1/2 bucket, not a full one. They weren't bad, but they definatly not as good as local ones. If I would have got the Beaufort oysters and it was the same amount for $20, I probably would have sent them back and left. We had a couple of beers and went down the road to where I usually get oysters and we got 2 overflowing big buckets of local (Folly) oysters at $10 each. If you just want to hang out and have a few beers, it's alright. If you want to eat oysters, go somewhere else.
