        Founded in 2000, Westchester EMS provides a range of first response paramedic solutions. The center offers services to the residents of Westchester County in New York. It specializes in the fields of interfacility critical care and routine medical transportation. The center operates various basic and advanced life support ambulances, as well as provides dispatching solutions. It maintains a dispatch center, Central Communication (CenCom), which dispatches emergency fire and medical calls in the Somers Fire District. The center s ambulances are equipped with cardiac monitors, defibrillators, external pacemakers, intravenous medication transfusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, automated noninvasive blood pressure monitoring systems, oxygen cylinders, and emergency medical and cardiac drugs. It serves the municipalities of Bedford, Lewisboro, Mount Kisco, New Castle, North Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge and Somers in New York. Westchester Emergency Medical Services is a part of the Stellaris Health Network, which operates several medical care facilities and clinics.
