- We exist to serve anyone who has experienced limb loss, has difficulty with mobility due to an orthopedic or neuromuscular condition, or has diabetes. Our goal is to enable the greatest level of mobility possible for every patient in every situation. As the region s only ABC accredited O and P facility, we deliver only the highest level of patient care. We provide prosthetic limbs, orthopedic bracing, and custom diabetic footwear. We work with the most technologically advanced device makers on the planet, and are contracted with about every insurance plan available in our region.At Southern Orthocare, we have the privilege of serving many amputee patients to whom we provide ongoing care. When a patient who has experienced limb loss comes to us for support, we consider their trust a high honor. Frankly, they become family to us.We work with our amputee patients from pre-surgery consulting through the post-surgery shrinking and healing process, then through the fitting of both the temporary and ultimately definitive prosthesis, and beyond. We provide high-end custom prosthetics for both upper and lower extremity.Our practitioners are experienced and skilled in all types of lower extremity prosthetic devices including microprocessor knees, elevated vacuum, passive suction, pin lock, and suspension sleeves. We customize each prosthesis to each patient's anatomy, condition, K-level, goals, and desires. We also provide body powered as well as myoelectric upper extremity prosthetic devices.

Could not find it via Apple Maps which sent me out of town past 25E and Mahle and Southern Truckinh and then announced "arrived" in the middle of AJ highway. Finally saw it next to Liberty Hill Rd on my way back into town, but was going the wrong way at 5pm....will try again later this week. Also, no one answered the phone or called me back.
If I could give it less, I would. Stacy apparently does not know how to measure correctly for compression hose because she gave my husband who is 6'4" and weighs 225 a women's medium. He took their word that were professionals and brought them home and tried them on. They didn't even come halfway up to his knee. He took them back the next day to exchange or get a refund. He told Jessica that they were too small, that he had tried them on and needed a larger pair. She gave him a woman's small. I called to try to fix the error and she told me that had said they were too large. My husband has worn compression hose before and he knows when they are too small or too large. Now he is out his compression hose and the $18 he had to pay for a pair that won't work.
This company is awesome. Their building is warm and inviting. I have always felt like I was a problem at the other shop I went to. I can call and I am always greeted with open arms and open minds instead of a guy who knows everything. Every amputee should visit and become a part of this family. I walk pain free today because of these guys.
The staff is professional and caring. They were very knowledgable about what I needed and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
