This is a storm chasing scam company that sends out dishonest sales representatives to door knock and say that it looks like you have wind and hail damage. Then they get you to sign their electronic device saying that it is simply to get permission to contact your insurance company. However, what they don't tell you is that you signed a service agreement that allows them to be your contractor. The sales rep is supposed to give you a copy of this agreement the same day either by paper copy or by email and you have three days to cancel. However, we were never told about it or given a paper copy of it and he never asked for our email address either. The sales rep had a meeting with us in our home to go over the scope of work to be done. He had in his possession an $8,000 check from our insurance company, and said that I was required to sign the check over to them now to pay for materials and labor. I thought this was a little odd, but I went ahead and signed the check, even though no work had been started. I had second thoughts about letting them do our roof, and I wanted to cancel, but then when I found out they would get 35% for doing nothing, I decided not to cancel. I regret letting them do the work because they use cheap labor and cheap materials. They sent out very unprofessional subcontractors who had no supervision. When the work was done, nobody from their company inspected the work. They claim to have HAAG certified roof inspectors, but I don't think they do. I found one person on the HAAG certified roof inspectors website from RCA, but his certification was expired. This company made a total of $16,000 ($10,000 from insurance and $6,000 from us out of pocket for deductible and upgrades). This was on a ranch style roof, an easier roof type to shingle. Talk about cost inflation!! If you get a door knock from their crooked sales reps, RUN THEM OFF!! or if you're thinking about contacting them to do work for you - DON'T DO IT!!
