Lemongrass Salon and Spa

I am back from my honeymoon!!!!! I do have to say this, I was going to write this review and saw the one that another person wrote so I am even more compelled to write this review about Kathy and Lemongrass Salon and Spa! I was referred to Kathy at Lemongrass by a friend who had her wedding hair done by Kathy. She, might I add was very pleased and so were the other 8 people Kathy did! My friend isn't the only person I know that has used Lemongrass for weddings and special occasions; there are several! I am sorry that the other bride didn't have the same experience that I and my friends have had:( We all had a blast!!!! I can not imagine Kathy or anyone at the salon being rude (she just isn't that way). Maybe the bride was stressed or is just being dramatic. Kathy made all of us in our wedding party feel so welcome and she did an awesome job on our hair. Kathy got rave reviews on what she and her staff did to our hair at the wedding and reception. When I went in for my consultation Kathy stressed how important it was to be on time the day we were to come and get done up!!! Kathy told us what to bring, what time she would need to get started on me so I could be done on time. She told me during my consultation that she had another large wedding party where the brides maids showed up 45 minutes late and the bride was 2 hours late!!!! Kathy said she thought it was important to really stick to a schedule so that everyone could enjoy themselves and alleviate stress, so we did! Great call on her part! I had no idea how much stress being late would have caused until I saw the time and special attention she gave all of us. My brides maids and mother said they would drive to see her to get their color and cuts! Two of them have already been there and they LOVED what she did! I am going to get my hair touched up and cut after Thanksgiving!!!YAY!!! I would highly recommend Kathy Shelley at Lemongrass over anyone!!! Anyone can write anything and I can tell you I am a person that has had the wonderful experience and will always be thankful that Kathy and her staff were so professional and sweet!!!! I suggest you listen to what she has to say; be on time. Make sure you take notes and tell everyone in the party what will be going on and what time and how important it is for everyone to be on the same page and on time!!!.

Just go there and forget about the rest, it's amazing!!!

I have been going to Lemongrass since March 2011. Saw Kathy on TV and got in to see her. Been there ever since and love my hair! One word...Professional

I got my hair done at lemongrass after getting it messed up elsewhere. Kathy, the owner fixed it and I am extremely happy.

Got my hair done Saturday am by Angel for a wedding. The salon doesn't open till 10 and she was gracious enough to meet me by 8am to get it done!! Loved it!

I have used Angel Hussey for years and no one can compare to her w/ cut and color. There is not a day that goes by that someone doesn't want to know who "does" my hair because they love the style!

My whole family gets their hair done there. Two daughters, one son, my wife, and myself. Always first class! Lived in Montgomery a long time and nowhere, and I do mean nowhere has been able to please us all. It's good not to hear my family complain about hair anymore. Been going there since they opened believe in March.

It's a wonderful place! My daughter got her hair done there for her wedding and it took 45 min. It was beautiful. She had so many compliments on the photographer even asked who did it. So I recommend you do go there.

You have to go to this unique salon. I have never loved my hair soooooo much and been treated with so much care! Thanks everyone at Lemongrass Salon and Spa!!!!!!!!

Love my hair! Won't go antwhere else! They treat you so great and the service surpasses any I have ever seen!

Appears someone is just being petty. I and another friend had both our wedding hair cattered by Lemongrass and they both were increaddible. And, a bunch of people I know have had them do hair for their weddings and alot of others get many services there. WE ALL ARE SATISFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I regularly get my haircut with the owner and she is good, and you can tell she is knowledgeable with various techniques. I recommend.

I don't know anything about their regular cuts and styling....but do not go to this salon if an updo is what you want especially for a once in a life time event.... like your wedding. If you decide to use this salon anyway, make sure you go for a FULL trial run before the special day so you'll know what to expect. Don't let them tell you they can do what you ask, without seeing their actual work done on your hair.

I have heard that the actual hair cuts at Lemongrass are good, but if you are looking for somewhere to get an up-do... keep looking. It was my sister's wedding day and we (3 of us) had a 3 hour block. 2 hours into it she still hadn't gotten the bride's hair done and my other sister and I had to go home and do our hair ourselves to keep everything on schedule. While the bride did end up looking gorgeous, the bun that was done was nothing that should have taken almost 3 hours.
