Good Business
I called them because my car had overheated and stalled on the way home from work, and I knew I was near them. On the phone, the guy from Camino Real helped me get a tow, and he waited about 15 - 20 minutes, after hours, for me to arrive.
They called me promptly the next day, with a clear diagnosis of the problem ( cracked radiator hose ). My car was ready by mid afternoon. They sent a car to pick me up at my work, and the price was reasonable. .
My car's a real clunker, needs TON of work, but they did not pressure me into getting anything else repaired.
The next day, my car started overheating again and leaking coolant as I pulled into my parking space at work. I called Camino Real, they sent a tow truck and took my car in. It turns out it was a different radiator hose.
Here's the beauty part: When my car was ready, they again sent someone to pick me up at my work. And they did not charge me for the other hose, and did not charge for the other tow!. A different service guy siad, "well there's no charge because although your other hoses seemed, OK, we probably should have checked a little closer and replaced that one that was about to go."
WOW! I have never gotten such honest service at any dealer anwhere. I highly recommend Camino Real Chevrolet!
